I really want to talk about them, but im tired of all the bashers that cant stand people who go out on a limb.

I have not started a thread in the main forum in months.

So I will let you guys tell me what you think about my Saints.

saints over 8 1/2 is the easiest wins total on the board in my opinion...

I'm still trying to figure out baseball...Who will have a better career, Bruce or Francouer? And will A. Jones be a Hall of Famer? Too many questions left unanserwed...:lol:

Defensive back seven is still really really bad. Mickey Loomis is a moron, he continues to not improve the areas of his team that were the backbreakers for him last season.....linebackers and secondary.

8-8 tied for 2nd in division

That's a solid play. The Saints/Chargers game will be Brees' personal Super Bowl and I will be shocked if the Saints don't win that game.

With Reggie Bust and Saints not providing running game, Saints' whole season will hinge on Brees' right arm. So, if the team does well, the MVP play will be live. He was runner up to LT couple yrs ago.

Look across conferences, other than the jailtime, what is different between this team and Cincinnati (besides NO having a much better DL and the Bengals having a better WR corps)? Why does everyone like this team so much? They can't stop anyone through the air.

They added Randel Gay and Aaron Taylor to the secondary, along with the best cover corner projected in the draft in Tracy Porter who absolultly has looked great in the pre-season. Jason David is going to get cut next week.

We added John Vilma at LB.

Cant plug all the holes in one offseason, but I think they have addressed a lot of needs in one offseason.

The offense is going to be insane this season. We may not even need a defense.

Helps to be in a division with TB, Carolina, and Atlanta. Those teams have some scoring problems. Just two years ago they were playing for the NFC Championship.

You cant compare cincy to the Saints.
Saints have one of the best DLines in the league. Bengals maybe the worst.

You guys have no idea how bad Jason David hurt us last season. Just with him not being there is almost the equal of signing Champ Baily in the offseason.

He is the greatest case of addition by subtraction in the history of football.

He was that bad.

The Saints started out 0-4 last year.
Guess who got hurt at the end of game 4? Jason David.

David missed 4 games because of that injury.
Guess what the Saints record was during those 4 games he was out?
4-0

Then he comes back again, then they lose to the winless Rams and they never could recover.

Chop, I assume you mean Aaron Glenn who is old and has not stuck with any team over the past few years. Randall Gay was a nickel and dime CB in New England.......it is a large task to ask him to become a starter. Jason David and Jason Craft are worse than boards with angry faces. People like McKenzie but I don't know why, any top-notch WR in the league owns him. I do like Porter though and if he comes on quickly this unit may be just below average instead of terrible.

As for Vilma, he is coming off of major knee surgery so it's hard to know what to expect from him. Shanle is godawful and Fujita is overrated.
