The Saints are -7. They have one (if not the) most explosive offenses in the NFL.

The Saints have Drew Brees; the Lions have Dan Orlovsky...

The Lions are 0-14. I dont think the Saints want to be the team to give them their 1st W.

They are playing in Detroit, which plays in a dome. The Saints are $$$ indoors.

I know the Saints' secondary isnt that great, but neither is Detroit's QB situation.

I forsee a 41-17 type of game.

Saints and the Over???? Please Help me out here..

Saints -7 & Over 50.5

This is a very dangerous game to wager on. Saints gettin eliminated should steer away any action on em. Dont count on the Vets on the Saints to do jack shit in this game. So how many youngster playmakers do they have??? Lions are damn hungry for that ever elusive victory, may just be enough. I will probably toss a few bucks on Det + and M/L but will not get crazy. Being from around the New Orleans area I witness this 1st hand.. I will probably wager "tiny" on my Saints, but I will tread lightly.

Thanks

I'd say Det. and the over here.

Det. is VERRRY concerned about the 0-16. As Rod M. has
said, my shovel is sharp and my will is strong.

Will lay down 1 unit on Det.

:howdy:Hello DA_MOSS...

I lived in Nawlins' for six years from '82 to '88 (actually in Kenner than later in Slidell), thusly I know first hand how the natives there love the Saints, with that being said I feel your pain my friend as they continue to frustrate...

...I just have a hard time wagering on EITHER team in this match up and that goes for the posted O/U total as well.

Its true that the putty cats should be the more motivated team in this affair as they want to avoid a winless season versus a dejected Saint team that is for all practical purposes eliminated from playoff contention and goodness knows that the Saints have not fared well on the road as of late in losing 7 of their last 8 roadies in straight up fashion...

...however, these toothless Detroit Kitties are a shoddy 1-7 ATS in their last 8 home tilts and have been out-scored at home this year 16 to 36, add up these Kitties average home loss (16-36) and you come up with an average points scored number of 52...

...meanwhile, if you would now add up the average combined points scored in Saint roadies this year you arrive at an average score of 51, the odds makers aren't stupid, hence the reason the O/U on this affair opened at 51.

If you reallyyyyy want to lay a wager on this contest I personally would leave the side alone and look to possibly making a play on the OVER as 14 of the Saints last 19 outings have gone OVER the total and 6 of Detroits last 7 games have gone OVER the total...whatever you decide to do good luck my friend!!

Take care and be well

Thanks,
I live in Thibodaux right now. But I do think you are right. I'll probably just lay a little on the Over and sulk on Bourbon Street if the 'Aints give Detroit their 1st W...

God Bless

The Saints are a succer bet. Detroit at least covers in a high scoring shootout. They may even win.

Detriot wins their first game. Saints are out of the playoff race so they have nothing to play for and they suck on the road.

Just stay away from this game, as this is a very unique situation and very hard to cap. I not too hot on the over either.
