What you failed to mention was strength of schedule. Saints have the hardest of all 3 in terms of scheduling. They had to play vikes ravens and rams back to back to back and came out on top. Yes they are playing harder because the schedule is harder. Their last 3 are against Carolina with Steelers sandwiched in between. If that’s not brutal? I expect the saints to drop one with Car and maybe the Steelers away. If they get Dome field advantage it’s SB bound. There’s no team to over take em. Rams did NOT take it easy in New Orleans. They simply were outmatched....Saints are damn good but they are also playing hard to establish themselves, unlike KC and Rams they did not know they’d be playing at this level.
I bet they cool off soon and still win most of last 8 but don’t cover nearly as much.
KC and Rams went out 9-1 as expected, difference is, they were thinking playoffs all along.
Saints feeling their newfound prowess but will soon start playoff mode.
Rams will be fired up next time if they play NO. First matchup was critical test for NO, not so much for Rams.
It’s a shame but odds are one of these 3 teams will suffer injuries that hinder their chances they will make it to the SB.
