Betfair.com as it has all its clients funds ringfenced and as an exchange isn't taking any risk

Dante, no disrespect but to say OLY is safer than William Hill is crazy.
Will Hill has hundreds of legal betting shops all over the UK with incredible assets.
OLY could take off overnight and you would have no way of getting your money.

Not saying it will happen but you get the picture.

Hong Kong Jockey Club.

wtf is betworks. as recommended by JJ i will stay well away as he obviously comes from the shallow end of the gene pool.

would not be surprised if he makes the Darwin Awards one day.

The safest book in the world is located in Alaska.

The owner carries 2 handguns 24/7. The clerks all have weapons when they are working. One of them is a world champion knife thrower.....he could take off a 1mm slice of your ear from 20 feet before you could move. They also have at least 1 if not 2 full time security that carry automatic weapons while on the job.

agreed Betfair is the safest - $80mill, matched bets a week and not taking any risk - client funds ring fenced - safe as you'll get

By the way, although I have an account there and have no worries, Betworks is not the safest book, and here's why:

The owner of Betworks used to be in charge of the regulatory body governing sportsbooks in the Australian Capital Territory. As such, he just might know how to exploit a weakness in the strict ACT regulatory requirements ... not saying that he would, just that if anyone would know how to do it, he probably would.

And you can remove Canbet from the short list, since they're not in Australia anymore.

One of the biggest fallacies on the boards these days is that a UK bookmaker license means that a book is "safe". Bookmaker's licenses in the UK are a dime a dozen.

Hali,

Nice layout @ Tote.

Moving to Newfoundland beginning of Oct. Booked 4 nights at Casino Halifax on the way through.
I find out there is no way to get a room comped. I thought you guys were uptownish.
