Those are narrow legal definitions of libel and slander....not necessarily the complete dictionary definitions.

slander

1. Law. Oral communication of false statements injurious to a person's reputation.

2. A false and malicious statement or report about someone.

3. The dissemination of malicious tales or suggestions to the injury of another.

Ok SDS manager, I'm going to straight shoot with you, why in the world would I play at your book which I have never heard of until this incident and is associated with NASA when they're the likes of Pinnacle, 5 Dimes and WSEX I can play with. If you can answer that convincingly then sign me up!

Go2Guy..You and I will exist on this planet whether or not we ever do business, that is a given..I will try to negotiate a settlement that is equittable with the player who feels he has been wronged..That is my fabric..As for you playing with my book, thats up to you..I never prospected for you, or this problem..Let me reiterate, this has been a learning experience for me..I take part of the blame..
As for my affiliation with NASA, I am an independent book which rents space there..Pinnacle, 5 Dimes and WSEX are reputable establishments, no doubt..I only hope one day to be looked at in the same light as they are..To get there I need the trust and support of players like yourself..
I try everday to be the best I can be, thats why I responded the way I have to this perdicament..
I am now looking for closure..This experience has made me a wiser man..

You said. Go2guy..Thanks for the support..I appreciate the jab..We never met and yet you spar with me verbally and say I am not a reputable book..I can take a punch as well as the next guy..Before you sit in judgement, why dont you test my services..I think you may be pleasantly surprised..

. I'll keep an eye out on you and if you're around say 5 years from now then I'll give you guys a shot. As far as the situation at hand, I hope it gets resolves for not only the players' sake but yours as well. Not a good way to find out about your book IMO.

This is no doubt all a big misunderstanding. I will post the outcome of this in the very near future. I will be talking to Barry Clark in the next few days. I will keep you all posted.

I would like to say that the problem I had with Safe Deposit Sports has
been rectified. Barry Clark stepped to the plate and made a fair settlement
with me. He proved to me that I was scammed by an agent who misrepresented
himself, and his relationship to Safe Deposit Sports.
I would like to vindicate Safe Deposit Sports of any wrongdoing, and
support the fact that they are a young and upcoming book.
This chapter in my betting life has been closed in a satisfactory and
professional way.
I would also like to thank Monte of www.bettorschat.com. I don't think this would have been resolved without him as he took hold of the negotiations and made it happen.
