Family is great, coming home to kids & a wife IMO is unbeatable......if you gbling doesn't get in the way of family life, I see no reason to continue.
Some wives, no matter how much money your bringing home from winning at sports or whatever, they want complete control & rather see you miserable because you can't do what you love........I believe you can do both, family & gamble on sports as long as it doesn't interfere with the family, & we all know it does on Sundays, haha!

Any time i hear a man say the wife wont allow me to gamble , its usually either a financial problem or too much time being spent away from home. ... And i'm sure it's not a financial problem as you killed it in the NFL and just hit a big play cbb play , so maybe its the shooting the shit with the degens that needs to be cut out. haha.
