My weekly take on my Gamecocks! Although we usually play Georgia good regardless of how good or bad we are, I don't think we can expect that to happen this year. I think we are just overmatched here and gonna really struggle to put points on the board. Defense played a lot better in the 2h last week but it was against an average offense at best. Anyway, I hope I'm wrong, but I see a 38-13 type game here. Good luck.

Hope and think you're wrong as well. Hoke's defense still hasn't given up a single second half point this year. Think South Carolina gets a late cover. Seems like everyone is expecting a blowout, which is the last thing to expect in this matchup. Lambert is not that good. Heading down to Athens now.

Big line here. Almost like the books are asking you to take SC.

Not sure how Spurrier plans on stopping Georgia this year.

Like I said, I hope I'm wrong but with a walk on(scholarship now) qb making his first start ever, I don't like the odds. I'm not playing either side so good luck, I hope yall cash!

Chickens +16.5. Spurrier has hated Geirgia since he was a fetus and will find a way.

Have no idea why they hung such a high number on this game. My only thought is the line makers aren't expecting SC to score much. UGA doesn't have a high powered offense with the shitty QB play they have been getting thus far.

I follow the Dawgs close, can't believe the line myself. I love Spurrier with this many points against a hated rival

Spurrier looked really defeated after the Kentucky game. I think he knew how much he needed that game. If Georgia gets out early it could be bad.

You mean like the exact thing that happened at Home versus Kentucky. Surely it couldn't happen on the road at Georgia.

IDK what to expect out of the Gamecocks anymore. Guess that comes from the man at the helm...

Not to happy about being right here but this game went just about how I thought it would. Hate betting against my team but I made some cash on the 2h. I'll be back later in the week to give me opinion about the UCF game.

South Carolina is just not a very good football team.

It starts with Coaching and trickles down.

How about them Purple Paladins out of SC beating UCF at home this week. Surely SC can handle them?!?

I think if Spurrier can get over wanting to throw the football and realizing we should be a 65/35 run/pass team with Nunez taking the snaps, I think we can still win 6 games. But if we continue to call plays like we have Aaron Rodgers back there then we will continue to struggle. As far as the defense is concerned, we are low on talent but luckily we don't play many teams with as much offensive talent as Georgia.
