Nah, sounds like he's closing his side-business too and selling the existing inventory.

Sounds like his main business failed, and he has to sell off the side business... It was a good idea too but the prices were too high even for the average gringo.

the land in turrialba and the bunch of trucks he had are interesting. I've read a few stories of people that try to start projects in eco-tourism, conservation etc and face a gazillion burocratic requirements

of course it also sounds like he had a call center too, even has a pbx

I wish him luck selling everything, he certainly has a lot of stuff, the Asus netbook is interesting

I figured I couldnt lose something as big as a netbook (and the price of a 60gb or more NON ipod is almost comparable), the battery life is not as good as the asus but the chasis is the typical lenovo/old thinkpad, very solid
