I personally think he is really good and can help the bengals with his scrambling. Another kid from '05 draft that I think only need a chance. He is from Harvard, so the kid is pretty bright.

Thanks Bruce, GL today! I googled him, nothing really sticks out!

He's got an arm and can make plays. This could be exactly what the Bungles offense needs.

From wikipedia!

Fitzpatrick played his first NFL game on November 27, 2005. Coming into the game in the second quarter against the Houston Texans to replace an injured Jamie Martin, Fitzpatrick lead the Rams from a 24-3 halftime deficit to a 33-27 overtime win, throwing for 310 yards and three touchdowns. This made Fitzpatrick one of only five players who passed for 300 yards in their NFL debut. The others were Otto Graham, 346 yards (1950); Ed Rubbert, 334 (a replacement player for the Washington Redskins during the 1987 strike); Mark Rypien, 303 (1988), and Peyton Manning, 302 (1998).

I know it's a bold statement but we shall see. I am still laying my money with the Browns, but from a fantasy football standpoint, fitzpatrick will do very well...

my guess is he doesnt know all the plays that well. plus their not gonna have him winging the ball around unless they get behind a bit. chances are this may be their next starting QB for the future. They wont ruin him in this game. Should be a close game decided on turnovers. jmo

The kid can scramble and make plays. Play, he's been in the league for awhile now (since 05) and was with the Bengals last season as a backup. I think he should be A ok because I don't think the Bengals will be restricting their playbook because of their record. They need a win.

Him and Matt Birk are probably the smartest people in the game.

He scored a 50 on the wonderlic intelligence test.

The way CP has been playing this kid might be a welcome addition and could possibly give Cinncy the spark it needs, who knows!
