So When I don't understand a line, I assume Vegas knows something I don't and ill step back.

Today I was doing my normal handicapping and saw Nets +9 and I fired away a max bet. At the time 51% of the bets were on the Nets which wasn't surprising to me.

The line has creep-ed up to 10.5. Now I'm worried. I don't know what I'm missing. I honestly fired away this morning because I saw the line moving down as much as a point. Instead, it moved 1.5 points the otherway on something I already viewed as a bad line.

Golden State backers, how is it possible that laying 10.5 points is the right bet?
Objective bettors, what am I missing thinking that this line should be 8?

I'm thinking about buying a portion back.

Yeah, that's my problem, I don't see how people could be excited about laying 9 much less 10.5

72% of the bets are on GS right now though

Golden St. leading the league in turnovers and one of their best frontline players is out ... David Lee. Unless, Lee is back tonight this is a real confounding line @ 10 1/2

Similar thing 2 nights ago when GS was -8' vs SA.

SA won SU.

Vegas has a lot of love for GS, or GSW gets a lot of backers, or something.

They're a good squad but without Lee this line is absurd.

Last night they steamed the total in the Massachusetts game from 61 to 65 .... they would have needed six quarters for that total to go over.

the number now is not a true number imo where it will be around 10 pm eastern, that number will be a much better number on the side

You worry too much

1) vegas only lays a # they believe will give them equal action. a line is NOT a representation on who they think will win. They really only care to collect the juice (see miss st v alabama)
2) a line only moves when the money moves. Basically line movement is just the opinion of other idiots. Do you trust them?
3) see your doctor about impending ulcers

nice sweep today!

Game could have gone either way but that was so obvious even grant hill said it on the air. Totally could have been a cover if it had been called. Nice hit for you and the nba gods will give me one soon. Bol the rest of the season. I like what you have been doing in the football
