I understand that shit happens, and I am not trying to be a dick here,but I was just thinking that like a lot of internet sites that i use never go down that somehow you guys could have a system that does the same. I have gone to sites that literally have so much backup that they haven't been down for me in over two years. Can't you guys get some better redundancy. I love your site, but would be happier if you were never down.
In short The Rx. is at the mercy of http://www.infopop.com/ when it comes to down-time. I'm not really sure if redundant back-up will help. Take a look at the Info-pop site, they explain how UBB forums work.

#1cheater# I know you find many faults with The Rx. I wish I could make this place more pleasant for you, unfortunately I cannot. Perhaps someday you will find something, or someplace that does'nt sux. I can only add that since I have been posting here I can't remember more than a half a dozen times the site was down for any exended period (more than an hour). Maybe you know of some I do not. In any event, this is a free site and you are free to post here as much as you care to. Hopefully someday the site will be satiafactory, in the mean time I wish you the best of luck.

Weekendalki - That actually happened once. The last time I remember the Forum being down for an extended period, around 18 months ago (more or less ). Info-pop combined The Rx. with a cruise ship vacation forum. To say the results were a diaster would be fairly accurate. The cruise ship posters had no idea what the Rx. posters were talking about. The banned poster Vega had a field day, the whole thing lasted pretty close to 24 hours if I remember correctly. I'm sure others recall the incident and can add their recollections.
