What I want to do is have a season long capping contest and I want it to be Self Scoring. We will allow 3 plays per day(Sides & Totals Only). The lines will be posted daily. We are going on the honor system. You will be asked to post your YTD records with each post in the contest thread. There will no Lines posted on Thursdays. I will be looking for a sponsor as we go. Please be honest & make this as easy as possible. Any player caught padding their records will be warned and then booted from competition. We will allow any new entrants up until November 15th, 2003. No players may enter after Nov 15th. Just post your plays and track your results. Be sure to post your YTD records daily. It is up to each of us how smooth this contest goes.
-One contest entry allowed per person/IP address. Contestants found to be using multiple IDs will be disqualified.
-Each play is for ONE unit, ie. 1.1 to win 1
-When posting your plays in the OFFICIAL NBA CONTEST THREAD we ask that you COPY AND PASTE your plays from the listed point spreads and totals to minimize errors and simplify record keeping. Plays must be posted in the official contest thread.
-One post per day. Editing of posts will NOT be permitted and contestants are subject to DISQUALIFICATION upon review.
-Any play resulting in a PUSH/TIE will still count as a play.
-You cannot select the favorite and underdog in the same game. Likewise, you cannot select the over and the under in the same game.
-The contestant(s) with the MOST NET UNITS WON at the end of the Year will be declared the winner(s).
-IN THE EVENT OF A TIE the winner will decided based on units won for the proceeding 5 contest days.
-Minimum of 150 posted plays to be eligable for prizes if a sponsor is found.
-Forum time will used as cutoff. No game will be counted if posted past the top or bottom of the hour of when the game starts. If it goes at 7:01-7:29, play must be in by 7:00. If game goes at 7:31-7:59, then play must be posted by 7:30. One post per day
-The game must be listed with lines in order to count as a play. Please do not post games that are not listed in the contest thread.
There is no need to sign in. Just post your plays & you are entered.
Please post any questions or comments here!
This is not a thread for plays, just opinions.
