Good job taking down BCN banner. Question is, why was it ever up? Is RX going to take advertising money from unknown people and books and imply to their readers that all advertisers are solid upstanding operations to be trusted? RX has a good reputation as a trusted leader. When garbage advertiser books screw its posters the RX reputation takes a hit.

was anything learned from PanAm? And most of all at this time I must ask, why is the mybookie banner still up after complaint after complaint after complaint about them?

Question is, why was it ever up?

BCN entered into an advertising contract in good faith, obviously no one knew, or could predict that this type of incident would happen. Everyone involved at The Rx. when BCN or any or the other advertiser books were signed did so with the best intentions. This incident while regrettable, does not mean BCN will turn into any kind of nopay or even slowpay operation.

why is the mybookie banner still up after complaint after complaint after complaint about them?

MyBookie has been very proactive in rectifing any complaints promptly, sure they are a recreational book, but they remain very approachable by the Rx. moderation team. I don't see any comparision between the Mybookie"s recent minor disputes (or the earlier now paid large dispute) and this BCN problem.

Thanks, wil.

as far as mybookie, they seem to be VERY quick to capitulate when their capers hit the forums. what about most of their customers who never heard of a forum? I guess they are shit out of luck.

RX is going to have to bounce mybookie sooner or later, just do it and get it over with. Out with the bad, keep the good.

Mybookie, too many horror stories. I asked myself when I first signup with RX. Why is mybookie banner here?

The FACT is that is being left out is that BCN did not renew here and tomorrow is the last day of the contract. Not that it excuses the current dispute, but it should be noted that this is an important fact in this case

I don't think this fact has anything to do with it Clev...not this time...it could be twisted around on them just as easily..

The Rx owners didn't assign Fishhead this case because BCN's contract was up, cmon!?

Do you really believe that?

One has to realize that The RX does run a business. The majority of off-shore sportsbooks are run by quick buck artists posing as bookmakers. If The RX made strict guidlines that REAL sportsbooks advertise here only, there would be less than 15 books eligible to advertise here. That would not make business sense for The RX. I do agree once a book is exposed as a phony, scamming book, they should be shown the door. MyBookie comes to mind.

One more note: The RX is far and away the top watchdog site bar none. You don't see outright thieves advertising here like you do across the street and elsewhere.

Nothing changes the fact that they changed the odds from 100-1 to 90-1 and then 70-1 over the course of 3 days and then decided to void all plays under the "bad line" rule.

I don't believe that per se, but on the other hand, fishhead was touting them 1 wk prior, thus making it seem to me that he was doing his "job" here in trying for a renewal. I do not think this this case was "assigned" to fishhead at all. I think he got some complaints due to his shilling and thus here we are.

Well, I would bet a lot of money he had no idea that a renewal was even due for them....he is known to post these bonus offers all the time...he does this sort of stuff on his own, being the grinder that he is.

I am positive he had no idea about BCN's contract status....

Well I am assuming she may know because someone from BCN told her (as they are an advertiser at MW) ...it certainly wasn't on this end...

nope, I don't know anyone at bcn, never played there...Roberto touting them right off the bat was enough to make me stay away. I just put 2 and 2 together tho on this one, given the fact that it was taken to the forum by a mod

Journeyman, I am well aware of that, and I think that he did right by doing that, of course he should have helped them, he steered them that way. I am not saying the book is right here, btw...I don't know any facts of other than what I am reading in the forums anyhow, so therefore I am not going to say either party is right or wrong here, I just think it is something that you all should reevaluate when it comes to rolls in posting about books and being mods...I learned my lesson way back during camelot and never forgot it

Come on clevefan, you must of got it confirmed from someone. You post with 100% certainty. I think you are right because MyBookie has been busted on numerous occasions of screwing posters over yet their ad banner continues to fly high here.
