The president-elect on Saturday sent a message to his 'many enemies', saying they had lost 'so badly they just don't know what to do'. Trump ended his gloating tweet with an ironic: 'Love!' His message (inset) came two days after President Barack Obama retaliated against Russia for its efforts to influence the outcome of the presidential election, expelling 35 Russian intelligence agents and closing two Russian compounds in the United States that today lie abandoned (left). Trump praised Putin's decision not to retaliate with similar sanctions yesterday after the Russian President earlier reached out to Trump with a warm message that raised hope they could improve 'bilateral relations'. The thirty five Russian spies are due to leave the US today - as the Russian consulate in San Francisco revealed that their chef was one of the employees being forced to leave and tweeted a photo of his final meal (top right).
