If your gonna do a money league, why not just invest some of it into a site, say cbs sportlines and take it out of the pot for the best software out there...Yahoo is free but it also sucks...I am in numerous keeper leagues that have lasted quite a few years and its a blast to keep the same people around in the same league each and every year...Just an idea, i would be interested if this was to occur...Live drafts on cbs, and u can even do a slow draft as well where it cane take weeks to finish...Lots of options elsewhere that yahoo does not have...Worth the lil extra money..

I Have Set Up The League Over At Espn For Those That Are Interested Under Rx Fantasy League. It Is A Live Draft. It Is Set Up For 20 Teams On A First Come First Serve Basis. This Is A Head To Head Format Where There Will Be 16 Categories Which We Must Beat Our Opponent On A Weekly Basis With 8 Offensive And 8 Pitching Categories. Top 4 Teams In League Make Playoffs. If We Want To Make It More Intersting Where People Put In Say $100 So We Have $2000 In Prizes With $1k To First, $500 To Second, And $250 Each For 2 Other Playoff Teams We Can Do It. Draft Will Be On March 18,2007 At 1 Pm Est. Lets Get It Filled Up Boys.

I have not seen 12 (forget 20) people say they're down to play for $100. You two (themanej & kojak) need to get this shit situated. I'd rather do ESPN rather than Yahoo but like someone already said, the commissioner package runs for about $100 (tops) at most spots. I don't know how league structures work, but I was thinking we do 16 teams, 4 divisions, 8 playoff teams. I know half the league making the playoffs sounds gay, but it'll keep a lot more teams in the race and the 8th seeded team may end up winning it all easily. If we do 16 teams, $100 each, that's $1600 - $100 for the league website/setup/etc. (which the commissioner of the league can pay and then he wouldn't have to put in for the league since he's already putting up his $100 for the site), leaving us to split the $1500 up for the winners. Here's how I would divide that money...
Champion: $800
Runner-Up: $400
3rd & 4th: $150
As for who would hold the money, we can use Paypal althought I would hate to give up the fees for every transaction. Another possibility is leaving it in a betting account but I don't think we can get 16 guys to all agree on who's account it goes in (you're all addicted gamblers and would probably lose that money anyway! lol). Sending it to one of the mods would be a good idea as well.
I have two requests: 1) has to be a live draft), 2) has to be on a Saturday. I think almost all of us are available between 11AM-3PM on Saturdays are we not? I'm available all day Friday and Saturday (except the evenings of course).
The season is 4 weeks away, let's get going ladies!
