We have always kept a list of who has Tipped and what. It doesn't matter if it's big or small. Nobody knows each others financial situation is.

it just Blows my mind when someone wins like $4K - $5K and tips $20 bucks

But I have figured a different way to work these Contests out in the future
because I just don't understand that a guy like JOH will work his butt off on his Own time and not even be a thought to tip him something...

I will note that there has been Others that don't even have to Think about it, and Tip

I would’ve sent you something if I actually won anything...just like if I would’ve won the monthly $100 for the ncaab contest, that was going directly to JOH/you

I personally think you two should take 10% of the take and you all figure that amongst yourselves... for the superbowl I was also in a $1000 square pool... the group running the pool took the last 10 squares... prize pool was just 90k

What would you say the percent is of the people that have tipped to not have tipped during your time running these contests? Let’s say for any winners/payouts over $200?

secret list ?? No ... you keep track of the winners and any Tips that were given. Nothing wrong with that.
But you better believe Even You would remember if someone won $5,000 and threw you $20 if you were running a contest.

I honestly didn't know he wasn't paid. Shame on the RX. My 2 cents are that it isn't cool not to pay the guy then shame the users here for not tipping him. He should be paid or compensated in some way. We have to find a way to compensate him even if you don't win a contest.

So let's say he were to be on the payroll, should he still expect a tip for doing his job? I don't think that would be similar to a poker dealer as the poker dealer contributes to the win in a way.

JOH is outstanding and does a great job. You guys should franchise him.

He hasn’t been a mod since July, hence the reason the tracker forum hasn’t been updated... and it’s been noted several times in the contests he doesn’t have the same abilities as to editing posts, deleting, etc...

it doesn’t matter if he’s paid or not from the rx... his “job” title wasn’t to conduct/moderate contests... him and betall started those and run those on their own time..

New ownership has the money to pay for advertising space on Clay Travis' podcast but not pay a guy who runs one of the most popular areas at the RX? Sounds like a bad business decision.

I have always felt that an "asset" to a business or a team is a PLUS!

Provided the "asset" put the business or team always first.

JOH many times put his health second to the RXForum...men, that's a guy any of
us would want working in our business or on our team.

Hell, I don't know what's going on with ownership goals for this place...but I do know
this...JOH over the years has been more valuable than most of the moderators by a long
hard mile.

Agree JOH is huge but I still stand by the opinion that we as posters should give him something for his time. Winners can tip too but he is grading for ALL of us.

We can't just expect the forum to pay him while we aren't forking up anything ourselves

True & you guys know BAS & I have pushed for improvements through the years.

Past ownership was very good to we employees but unfortunately had other business priorities.

But it's different now as there is new ownership & everything we've all yearned for in the past will finally come to fruition because we finally have leadership who cares like the rest of us here.
