The Rx.com Bash 2008 Itinerary...Post Bash Remarks. I am really proud of the way this Bash went and am very glad we choose The Golden Nugget as a venue, I hope everyone had a great time.... Thanks to all who attended, wil. 8/19/08..
I want to say first of all I am looking forward to seeing all of you Rxers that are planning on attending this year's Bash at The Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, please be sure to try to look me up over the weekend.
The Bash will be held on Saturday August 16th. Rxers who have registered through the secure link I emailed to you will have comp rooms at The Golden Nugget for the nights of Friday August 15th and Saturday August 16th.
We kindly are asking Las Vegas residents to not ask for a room due to the limited number we have reserved for the event.
Extra nights for Bash attendees that have comped rooms are available at a rate of $59 per night.
Anyone who has not signed up yet for a comp room for the weekend nights should go to the link below to do so and follow the instructions in Post #1.

Friday August 15th is the official check in date and traditionally many posters meet in the sportsbook to renew old friendships and make new ones.
There are no official events scheduled for Friday.
Feel free to get together in the sportsbook, do some gambling, sightseeing, maybe see a show, the time is yours to enjoy once you are checked in.
Saturday August 16th.
The $2500 Rx Bash 2008 Texas Holdem Poker Tournament Sponsored by BODOG will take place at Noon on Saturday.
Right now I do not have the name of the function room where the tournament will be held but will have it fairly soon and will post the name of the room when I do.
Seat selection will begin at approximately 11:00AM Pacific time with the actual tournament calling for its dealers to shuffle up and deal at Noon Pacific sharp.
There will be a table at the entrance to the tournament room where you will be able to sign up in order to get your table and seat number.
Please remember there is a mandatory $20 per player tip/toke fee for the dealers and pit crew working the tournament. You will be asked to pay that amount when sigining up with no exceptions allowed.

Locals will be allowed to play but they must sign up on the thread linked above. All players must have a BODOG account no later than August 14th. 2008. Players also must have a minimum of at least 100 posts here at The Rx.com Posting Forum no later than August 1st. 2008.
BODOG is donating the following prizes:
A total of $2500 in funded accounts will be split up by the top five finishers.
1st. Place $1500
2nd. Place $400
3rd. Place $300
4th. Place $200
5th. Place $100
I will allow guests to play (using their hosts BODOG account number if they do not have one) on a standby basis starting at 11:30AM Pacific on the day of the tournament. First come, first seated if we do not fill the seats that The Golden Nugget is able to accommodate us for the event with actual posters. Please have your table and seat numbers by 11:45AM Pacific so I will have time to process any standbys in time for the Noon Pacific start time.
The event should run until approximately 4PM Pacific. Winners will receive certificates at the reception dinner later on Saturday night, with instructions on how to get their BODOG accounts credited with their winnings.

The reception will begin at 8PM Pacific in the Pebble Beach Reception Room of The Golden Nugget and run until approximately Midnight Pacific.
The buffet dinner along with open bar will be available to all Rxers and their guests.
The menu will include the following:
Mixed Greens with Three Dressings
Tossed Caesar Salad
Antipasto
Fruit Salad
Sauteed Chicken & Mushroom Marsala
Filet Medallions with Madeira Sauce
Pan Fried Pork Loin Medallions
Penne Pasta Pomodoro
Chef's Selection of Fresh Vegetables
Chef's Selected Rice or Potato
Assorted Jumbo Cookies
Chocolate Fudge Cake
Carrot Cake
Old Fashioned Strawberry Shortcake
Assorted Dinner Rolls and Creamery Butter
Freshly Brewed Coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee
All food and beverages are compliments of The Rx.com.
We will be raffling off over $2500 in Betting Accounts donated by Skybook, BetJamaica
and BetVegasVic.com.
Only posters are eligible for the raffle, unfortunately guests will not be allowed to participate. In the event that you do not already have accounts at the three books mentioned above kindly use our links to sign up and get an account number. Funding the account is optional. You cannot win any of the funded accounts without an account number at the book you win one from. Note to sign up at BetVegasVic.com you must call them toll free at 1-866-507-2822 and please tell them you are from The Rx.com
As in years past there is a very good chance we will raffle off some cash as the night wears on also. Only Rxers holding account numbers from the four donator books listed above will be eligible for any cash prizes that get raffled off.
