Guys,

I hear the pundits talk about Wilson being a game manager...BUT, this guy is unreal.

Some say take away the Defense and running game..HERE is how I see it.

Regular season...73 TD to 25 INT 1700 Rush Yards 6.1 average

PLAYOFFS ...Wilson IS 5-1 all time playoffs WITH 9 td AND 1 INT AND A SUPERBOWL RING.

I say the Defense knows that Wilson will not make mistakes and it ALLOWS THEM to be more aggressive and take some chances.

Who cares what pundits say, the idiots on ESPN, NBC and NFL network just say ridiculous stuff to get more people watching.

What matters is that his team believes in him. He has been the best deal in the NFL at under a million a year and has given Seattle a SB, on their way to another. And reports are that he will soon get a 5+ year, $120 MILLION deal to make the highest paid QB in the league. That's what matters.

When that defense is broken up he will be in average qb!

Defense broken up?? C'mon Man! Do you not know that the Seahawks have already extended contracts on all their elite defensive players? K.J. Wright signed a four-year contract extension worth $27 million on Dec 18th. Then they signed Cliff Avril to a four-year extension worth $28.5 million at the end of December. So Pete Carroll has locked up long-term deals with Wright, Avril, Bennett, Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor, and Earl Thomas.

Wilson is a solid QB. One of the best but I'd still take Aaron Rodgers over him any day.

I hope he does not break the seahawks at contract negotiation. I love everything about this guy, Selfless, Community, Smart, fearless. Now in order to cement Seattle as a Dynasty Get paid but don't break the bank please, leave some money on the table for other players.

He is still on a minimum contract Gets paid something like $800K a year amazing

As bad as the call was, don’t[h=1]excuse Russell Wilson’s poor footwork and throw[/h]Douglas Lee Feb 2, 2015 12:03 PM

Seattle's last play was Russell Wilson's fault, not Pete Carroll's
ftw.usatoday.com

But he weakly takes his 2.5-step drop, throws the ball off his back foot and sails it high, right to Butler. If that ball is low and around Lockette’s hip, there’s no chance of an interception. Wilson did everything wrong on that play. Had he received the shotgun, stood tall and whipped the ball to Lockette, Seattle would be planning a Super Bowl parade today.
