From a "real" perspective, why wouldn't you give up 30 million off your contract. Yeah, I know, that's a lot of cheese and I'm going to get all I can get... but you've already got 150 million on your contract..... chopping off 30 million aint gonna make zero fuckign difference in your quality of life. If you really wanted to win, you'd do that.

Would you rather have an extra 30 million and go 7-9 and not make the playoffs... or take 120 million instead of 150 million and you go 10-6 or better and make the playoffs.
