Kind of hard for Nebraska to not be a rushing stat play tonight. That is the big red 'bread and butter', still.
I think MSU was/is a lot of smoke and mirrors. No pun intended, Smoker to me is way over-rated. I don't think the MSU O can get the job done tonight.
The only thing that scares me is all the uncertainty surrounding the Neb program and the hiring of a new coach. I read that some of the players wanted to boycott practice because the felt the process was dragging on..
Not something you want to hear about some college punks before you plop some $$ down on em'.
I still like Big Red tonight to get it done vs. the Average 10 conference.

Take it from me. Nebraska players will be ready in this game. Solich was a horrible coach and poor motivator. Despite the turmoil the players will be focused and even in his first game coaching, Pelini will do a better job than Solich and the players will want to play for him BIGTIME. All week long all I have been hearing is that they want to win for him and the young players. Nebraska has several young players who want to lay foundation for next year. Nebraska will roll Michigan State.

Here is one way to think about it Big12fan, yeah the guys wanted to boycott the game, but they didnt because Pellin , If Pellini wants this job which I just saw his interview on espn , saying yes he wants it and is confident he can do the job. Well for him he knows that tonight they need a win . Or else he can kiss it goodbye . Remember Pellini wants the job he will motivated the players to get it. He loses tonight , he might get blamed for losing it and and Nebraska is ego and pride heavy, the simply cannot stand to lose. I think they tell Pellini something like get a win tonight and we can talk later. win this first.,
