Limbaugh has consistently derided the 'right to privacy' and the supposed hypocrisy of the ACLU. Now that the govt wants his medical records, he cries about his privacy rights and accepts help in his case from the ACLU. I'd never listen again to his show though I'd love hear how he could possibly explain his blatant hypocrises.

This is the ACLU grandstanding...his lawyers are already on top of the situation...the ACLU is trying to shed their tarnished image from supporting Lander's group NAMBLA.

His lawyer said he welcomed and appreciated the help. The ACLU has always stood up for privacy rights so they are simply acting in accordance with principle. Limbaugh on the other hand is makin an argument that he has criticized in the past. Senditin...please don't deny the obvious here.

You know for a fact that if they didn't back Rush here, you'd be all over them for being political and not principled.

I think a fairer question would be "Rush Limbaugh or a common crack whore? Who is more principled?"

I vote crack whore.

Way back when I listened to him, and liked him a lot. Not sue I was necessarily a Republican then, but I wasn'r a Dem either. Maybe that's why I identify with Clark -- it's where you stand on issues NOW, not in the past, that define you.

Continually reinventing yourself then. As long as the past is say, no longer than 15 minutes ago or so? Dean, Clark, Kerry and the rest certainly agree with this principle.

If Bush Jr. didn't reinvent himself at the age of 40 he'd either be dead or in jail.
