The start of each new baseball season is sauced with intrigue, but the 2005 season is ladled with an unusually large dollop. The “x” factor is steroids, or the lack thereof. Some folks think that home runs will decline to “normal” levels, depressing scoring.

preseason scoring is up over last year, in case anyone thought we'd see a big decline.:smoker2:

I don't think preseason will determine how the season will play out. Whats most important is who will hit how many runs.

Maybe, maybe not.

I was posting it for info only, wasn't an opinion on how it will impact the season.

pitchers were taking roids allso. possibly the middle innings will be a hitters paridise?
