Air Force seems like an obvious one this morning, seems like everyone is on them though. I guess you could make cases for Purdue and Northwestern? Wyoming would certainly qualify, but that what take some stones in a real hold your nose type of play.

Are "Running Dog" plays distributed by a service? Or is it a term of art? I apologize for not knowing.

Can someone give me (and others reading this thread) a short description of what the phrase means?
Thanks in advance! :toast:

I'm not sure there is a formal definition Incubus, basically these are better rushing teams who are getting points. I think there are some posters on this site who may have put some parameters around what qualifies or not, but I'm not sure and would just use it as a general philosophy or something to look for when capping games. On the flip side, fading poor rushing teams laying points would be another way to look at it as well.

Yards per game, yards per carry? What makes a better rushing team?

I'm assuming more yards rushing per game

Its better if these teams have a better NET rushing advantage, not just a rushing advantage. If you can't stop the run, that negates your rushing advantage. These teams with the better NET rushing advantage are marked above.

Boston College would be one for sure. Oddly enough Iowa seems to qualify, just barely. San Jose would probably qualify, something about that game scared me though. Ball State looks like a pretty good one, might have to add that one to my card.

Kansas State looks like another one. South Carolina looks like another as Mizzou has been just abysmal running the ball
SMU looks like a good one, although thought I read somewhere that ECU changed their offense with a running QB?
Could make an argument with UNLV I suppose, although they really padded their stats with the 5 hundo they hung on Idaho state.
