www.rtn.tv

The service is in fact $99.99 per month. It used to be a lesser amount back when Philly Park/Woodbine were partners and was packaged at TRN (The Racing Network), but since MEC has taken over the price has gone up.

Unless Las Vegas works differently than the other OTW facilities in North America, they pull the majority of their signals from C-Band or the new digital converters, not from RTN. But perhaps all of this has changed in the last 2 1/2 years since I've been a mutuel manager in PA but I highly doubt it.

BTW, the time when the coverage of tracks will be not so great is when the MEC tracks end their meets and the CDSN tracks start up as CDSN and MEC obviously have no agreement to share signals (i.e. the MEC/Xpressbet/YouBet/AmericaTAB fiasco)

Hope this helps...

Yes, Roberts Communications is located in LV, but RTN is now owned and operated by Magna Entertainment (NASDAQ:MECA). Thus the reason HRTV (produced by MEC as a vehicle to promote Xpressbet) was first seen there before making it's appearance on the commercial dishes such as Dish Network and DirectTV.

It is nice though that they have expanded their channel coverage and now carry the live feeds for all of their tracks. No more three track sharing of a channel.

When I go to Vegas in March for the tournament, I'll have to talk with John Avello and see how they are now getting their signals.

$99 per month! Obviously not designed with the average "homeowner" in mind ! The one good thing for me is that I mainly focus on Woodbine and their site gives free live feeds.

SDSSome of the tracks but others like Chicago Want to force you to there OTB where they can rpb you with 2.5 % sircharge plus take out of up to 25% where no one has a chance. They want a bigger share of money being bet offshore rebate houses indian reservation which you are also rebating .In the near future you will see it get plenty nasty .It has already started with Tampa bay racetrack If they were not so greedie when they had monoply on the market and raised the takeout so high they would not have caused almost everone to lose if you keep records lose lose lose you get upset that is why these rebate shop s are doing so well turned some of these marginal players winners then continue to play and bet more racetracks better wake up enough said .PS this right now might be the best of times for betting some offshore books not going into pools and giving rebates if you can not win now you will never win
