RPM< how about starting a great baseball contest like you did last year? You are the best MOD this site has ever seen in terms of running a contest. Maybe it can be a postup contest where each player must post up $100-300 in a book like last year.

JUST PLEASE DO NOT USE PLAYERSSUPERBOOK OR VWAGER!!!!!!!!!!!! I am tired of these contests using that book when 1/2 of the players at this site cant play in the contest due to winning a past contest!

How about choose, intertops or the new book worldsportcenter.com?

I wouldn't want a brand new book if a post up is required. RIO how about doing last years contest again?

Exactly which 8250 members is it that arent eligible for the Vwager contests? since its half...

The only 2 i have seen are You and Randyrohm, and amazingly, he has no complaint about it...

You might want to contact Intertops, and set it up...Because every time we try to organize a contest, you tell us to use Intertops, however i have emailed Intertops each time, and never once even gotten the courtesy of a response, much less a decline.......

Playerssuperbook, and Rio are the 2 books that are stepping up for us now when we run contests, so that is why we choose them.....And the majority of us are very thankful to them for their support.....

If u find another book that wants to sponsor right now, in the slow season, please have them contact us....

And as always, thanks for your support...

Well damn bucsfan, you are only eamiling these people??????????? Pick up the damn phone and call them! That is why only 1 book or so are responding. Most of them dont even look at all of the emails.

You sure are getting defensive about this arent you? Have something to hide? I just want to use a different book, preferably one with 10 cent lines, that is why I said not vwager or playerssuperbook. worldsportscenter would be fine by me even though is seemed to have opened yesterday, I mean what is $300 anyway if you get to bet with it anyway.

But you sure have been getting defensive lately bucsfan when someone mentions another contest that might oppose yours! You dont have anything to hide do you? I didnt say above that RIO would not be a good sponsor. I would be fine with them.

But certainly you must agree that RPM ran the best contests (in basketball last year and then the one in baseball last year) that this site ahs ever seen.

Honorable mention goes to Pat McIrish though with his beteurosport contest during football. The format was a great one and we actually got 128 people to play. OK, OK, Journey does a bangup job as well, I guess that I will put him ahead of Pat!

Yes, PO, u figured it out..

I am hiding something....

I get defensive when i see people give the books that offer us free money, crap....

Especially someone who complains about every contest they are in....Then they want to complain about who is giving away money....

Thats what aggravates me....

But go ahead, keep digging, maybe u will find out "what i have to hide".....

By the way, I would love for someone else to put together a contest, get a good book to sponsor, organize it all, and do all the work to run it.....

Wont bother me a bit......

Ok, you just seemed a bit too defensive in your initial post. I wasnt exactly bashing those books, I was just saying that another book might be a better choice, like the RIO family, etc!

I was starting to think that you were a co-owner in playerssb there for a minute! If yo unotice, most of my "complaints" in contest are just to help out to cover all of the bases. I didnt exactly complain in your other contest, all I said was that I would be willing to give every player 1 week off to help those who skipped a week. Then you got all pissed off about it and said that I was complaining. I didnt miss a week, how is that a complaint? I am just trying to help the other players, I wouldnt want to place against someone else like that. Not all of us can be at this site 10 hours a day you know

From what I understand Fishhead is working on a baseball contest. Nothing is confirmed yet, but I know he has some good ideas that are being discussed with a sponser. Stay tuned.

I ASKED BUCSFAN about doing a 2nd anual Bragging Rights Contest, but have yet to hear if he could get it going. Since Madcapper started this contest last year and Bucsfan finished it and there is some bad blood between them I figured I got my answer when he never brang it up again....

RPM

I really enjoyed the format we had last year, changing every week. Think it was Rio and Skybook that sponsored.

It was Rio. 300 post up. 750 weekly prize and decent money for the top finishers.

It ws a great contest that was challenging and fun to be a part of. RPM did a somewhat decent job monitoring but Jack of Hearts updated almost daily.

Cardfather cleaned up if I remember right.

LETS DO IT AGAIN !

I won't cry when RIO gives me a run around like last year :-(
