What the fuck is this? Now the Bush Admin is out on a massive clean up campaign before they pack their bags??? Enough of this charade parade. Just fucking leave.

Ironically, Rove of all people shouldn't be trying to defend anything, let alone walking around publically.

In what was a remarkable admission that contradicted - to a large extent - the past statements from his onetime boss, former Bush strategist Karl Rove said on Tuesday evening that had the President known Iraq did not possess weapons of mass destruction, the United States would not have gone to war.

"In the aftermath of 9/11 the concern was about a tyrant accused of enormous human rights abuses," but who also possessed weapons of mass destruction, said Rove. "Absent that, I suspect that the administration's course of action would have been to work to find more creative ways to constrain him like in the 90s."

Here's the rest of the story...

They didn't seem too interested in getting at the truth. See actions of the VP's office against Valerie Plame.

Nope...such liberal fallacies just don't work.

Nearly all of the global intelligience thought Sadaam had them.

They might have been wrong...we don't know that either...but they were not lying.

Nice try though...keep working that angle. :missingte

But they were wrong. You know why? Cause there weren't any. But I guess like Rove, Bush, and Cheney, you believe your own lies.

Sounds just like my neocon cousin back home in LA. last year, GS/LAL went down to the wire. I think in the final minute there was a blantent no call where Derrick Fisher pretty much tackled Monta Ellis in the lane. No call, ball stripped and the Lakers run back for an easy 2. Lakers win.

I call my cousin down south and go off about the bs win. I continuously ask him about the foul. His repeatitive reponse, "Both teams played hard cousin. Was a hard fought, pheonominal game".

Absence of proof is not proof of absence.

And it's a moot point anyway...if the best global intelligience said they were there...it's not a lie.

See the previous video I posted...it was bipartisan...and across the board in the belief of Sadaam as a threat.

You can't deny it.

Paul Wolfowitz had a doctrine written in the eighties where he outlined a plan to invade Iraq. He is one of the evil Zionists that had this planned and lobbied for for some time.

The Afgan war .....well this has turned out like the war on drugs in Columbia. Once the Americans started both wars ...the exporting of drugs from both countries INCREASED.

Intelligence reports can easily be fabricated. It seems this was one of those scenarios and any one with any sort of morals and integrity that tried to speak against these lies was made a scape goat. ( George Tenet, Colin Powell two good examples. Media who asked "wrong" questions at press conferences had their media passes revoked any future coverages.) President somehow wins a second term thanks to a miscount.... sounds like an ideal democratic country. )

This administration never apologized for any policy or actions in 8 years.

With just a little over a month left they turn into sobbing little girls with the faucets on.

Do you get anything right?

They might not of had WMD (anymore), but it wasn't for the lack of effort. The Niger deal was about an "ATTEMPT" to buy yellowcake, and British Intelligence stands by their position to this day.

Brittish Intelligence >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Joe Wilson having cocktails with a friend. Tell us the results of the massive investigations, criminal litigation and civil litigation again.

The military leaders that Joe Wilson acknowledged went to Niger did not go there to buy fucking coffee as the fools believe and liars lie about.

Not a lie, another case of bad intelligence.

Riddle me this ole wise one, why would a government official make such a statement if he knew it would be proven wrong within weeks if not days?

Answer: he believed the intelligence reports.

President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998.

"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."
Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998.

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."

Letter to President Bush, Signed by Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL,) and others, Dec, 5, 2001.

"We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them."

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seing and developing weapons of mass destruction."
Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002.

"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..."
Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), Oct. 3, 2002.

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force — if necessary — to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002.

"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years . We also should remember we have alway s underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction."
Sen. Jay Rockerfeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002,

"He has systematically violated, over the course of the past 11 years, every significant UN resolution that has demanded that he disarm and destroy his chemical and biological weapons, and any nuclear capacity. This he has refused to do."
Rep. Henry Waxman (D, CA), Oct. 10, 2002.

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

"We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction. "[W]ithout question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation. And now he has continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real ...
Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003.

NOW THE DEMOCRATS SAY PRESIDENT BUSH LIED, THAT THERE NEVER WERE ANY WMD'S AND HE TOOK US TO WAR FOR HIS OIL BUDDIES??? Right!!!

But they were wrong. You know why? Cause there weren't any. But I guess like Rove, Bush, and Cheney, you believe your own lies.

As it turns out, Saddam had dumped most all of his WMD's but he just didn't want to appear weak. That's why he threw out all the UN inspectors, so he could appear that he in fact DID have them. He did that to support his position in the Arab world and not lose face.

How many libs here had that figured out? Let's see a show of hands. You can't prove anyone lied because you never even suspected what the real truth was. Show some proof that you did. Even your own heros signed on and yet you still point the finger. Everyone thought he was hiding them. Even you thought the same at the time. Now you claim that it was Bush that deceived everyone? They were just as deceived as you and all your buddies on Capitol Hill.

All the intelligence in the world thought different. One UN resolution after another condemned him for not playing ball with them. And you think it was Bush who was doing all the lying even when the truth slaps you right in the face? It's your own agenda that tells the big lie. Either that or you are right all along (but can offer no one anying to prove it) and the rest of the world lied too.

In the face of all that has surfaced, how utterly stupid of you to claim it was the Bush admin. that was lying.
