Roulette Addiction?

Went to the casino last night with a friend and he took $60 and turned it into $850 and I turned $120 into $1,000 just betting nickels on the roulette table. After getting to like 1,100, I missed all my numbers and had 1K and cashed out. We are walking out of the casino and pass the table we played at and 3 of my numbers hit back to back to back right after we left. Now all I can think about is what if I had kept playing. Does that mean I have some sort of addiction? I probably cost myself another $750 minimum by leaving when I did.

How do you bet nickels when you only have $120?

Poor person nickels of $5 chips. I had more with me but bought in $120, play about 10 numbers so I was just splitting them for about $30 per spin total. Hit a few #s in a row and then you have a lot to play with

Gotcha. Oh I know. I have played the game for many years. First thing I would say is to never look back after leaving the table.
Don't get caught in the "one more spin" mentality. I missed a plane flight from Vegas that way once.

You don't have an addiction based on the fact that you are kicking yourself for not sticking around. You have to leave sometime...just never look back.

If you total EVERY number on the board, it equals 666. I love Roulette too,,

heres a fun system,

its progressive so you will Lose for sure,,, but its fun, and you can win for hours and hours,,

bet on the thirds,,,

bet the third that just came up, and the third that HASENT come up (the 3rd in line) so in this construct you are betting repeaters, and "should come"

bet 1-1 then 4-4 then 13-13 then 42-42 (I put all profits to the side,,, for when the loss comes)

Ive lost with this too, but ive won a ton too,,

I once sat at a table at Caesars for an 8 hour stretch without getting up as I was doing really well and afraid I would miss a winning spin. That's devotion...or addiction...or something.

He is saying to bet 2 of the 3 3rds (1-12) / (13-24), and then you have 2/3rds of the board in play. Double your bets in a chase style martigale and then reset when won.

It could be a big loser or big winner quick but there isn't much happy medium. If your two thirds go on a roll though you will be printing money quickly.

But don't the thirds pay 2/1? You'd either lose both or break even right? Are you placing more money on one of those thirds?

If you bet $20 on 1/3 and $20 on 2/3 - you have Risked $40. If you hit, you keep the $20 you bet and they pay you 2-1 so $40. So you now have 60 after initial bet of $40

Tate- use to deal roulette, still floor it. Horrible system overall if you plan to play the game any length of time /bankroll

I don't play that often as it is definitely -EV. But its fun and I have had some awesome sessions winning some decent cash.

I box the zeros. Meaning I bet 1 unit 0 and 00. Then I put a unit on the two numbers on each side of the zeros. That is 1,2,9,10,13,14,27,28. I then split a unit each between the 25/26 and the 35/36. So Im betting green and the 3 numbers on each side of the green. If I get on a roll, then I'll start bumping up my units to 2 or 3 on each number.

If I spot a wheel that has been hitting near the green, then I'll stop and play if I'm in the mood. Its amazing sometimes how the ball will fall in those same pockets around the green over and over sometimes. I know its basically luck. But its strange luck.

Plus betting this way makes it more fun when you are watching the ball go around and drop. You are cheering for it to hit the green or near the green. Fun times.

1 unit 2,4, 6, 8, 11, 13, split 17/20, split 27/30/split9/12 sometimes27/30

5 units 24, 26,28,0,00 No logic...just what I play.. if I play the outside, it's always black..

Find a European (single 0) wheel and your odds aremuch better.

I have so many roulette stories.

Once I had a $100 chip on some number by accident..it got thrown out in busy table. I was looking around to see who won to congratulate them...imagine my surprise when dealer said it was me....right before time to check out also, so no time to lose it back.

Had you actually gone back I'd say maybe, the fact you walked away shows you have will power.

I play similar...I play the greens and the numbers touching the green. 0 00 1 2 27 28

Nah. I only play roulette maybe 4x per year. Buy in for $40 and play $1 units on the inside. So at worst, I'm losing a little over a $150 per year. If the wheel gets hot? Great. If not, Im out $40.

I would say at least 1x out of the 4 I cash out for around $200. The best run I had was at the Imperial Palace right after I cashed my ticket on the Packers over the Steelers in the Super Bowl a few years ago. Hit the table we saw as we were going down the escalator from the sportsbook that used to be upstairs. Bought in for $40. Cashed out for $900. At one point during that run, 00 hit three (3) times in a row. That is where we made most of our money. The last time it hit, me and my buddy had like 15 chips each on the 00.

It's cheaper than going to a night club or even a bar for a night of drinking., and more entertaining IMO.

How does it compare to making bets at the casino where you have the edge instead of the house having the edge?
