Ok guys, I hate to do this, but I'm going to be away for most of this weekend. I'll try to get to a computer if anything changes. Since I started posting I'm 5-4-1...and I feel like I've been on the right side so it's all good. (Chicago last night, Dallas vs. Pitt, etc). Here are my picks this week....
Miami vs. San Fran.....Take Miami lay the points, call it a day. San Fran has become one of my favorite teams to watch this year and Shawn Hill looks like Will Ferrell....I love it. Frank Gore runs and scratches around for yards like a spider and Mike Singletary pulls his damn pants down in the locker room. Now for the bad news...they are playing out of their minds and they are marching east for a 1 pm game....(someone else in this forum pointed this out...) Even if you want to bet San Fran....you have to go with the East Coast favorite here.
Miami -7....
Pittsburgh -2 vs. Ravens...Steelers -2.
Here is another example of a team playing out of their minds....This is really as close to you get to a "Don't believe the hype game." Living in Baltimore it's easy to believe that Joe Flacco is Joe Montana...but he's not....(although maybe in a few years...) Take the vets...Steelers....Besides Flacco started to show his true "greenness," when he started flailing around in the backfield like a half eaten crabcake.
Steelers -2.
Leans Tampa Bay, Detroit, and Dallas.
Short write ups...Tampa is better than Monday Night...need to bounce back...ATL is good but this one will show who the vets are....(Remember this is when all the Rookies legs start getting tired...never played such a long and strenuous season...go with the vets late in the season....).
Detroit...I like this early line simply because it's huge. Detroit is hungry and have covered a fair amount of games this year. I know, I know...you're out there in internet world saying, "Rollie...they suck." I agree....but remember the Dolphins last year...when did they get their win....late in the season...this team could easily cover -17. Some people would take it because it's damn near twenty points...they'd bet against the Colts even if it was a highschool team....just spot them 20 points.
Dallas...Machiavelli once taught that people will fight their hardest with their backs against the wall....Heads will roll if Dallas loses one more game...and I'm not saying they will win out...but they will most certainly win Sunday. I'm just not so confident to make it an official play....
We're going straight to the bank with these...
:toast:
wow I have under in the SD game and Over in the Buff game. Maybe your not an idiot, and you do have some sklills.I'm adding three more picks...
Over in the Jax. GB game
Over in Buffalo Jets game
Under in the San Diego game....
5 picks this week...three leans...more than enough to get that gold.
