Chicago Bears vs. New Orleans Saints...Bears -3 (Push)

Record this week 0-0-1. Overall 5-4-1.

That game was nonsense but we'll get the gold soon enough...no worries I can wait for the next golden ship to pass by.

Picks for this week with write up...NFL (I'm going on vacation...)

:dancefool Ok guys, I hate to do this, but I'm going to be away for most of this weekend. I'll try to get to a computer if anything changes. Since I started posting I'm 5-4-1...and I feel like I've been on the right side so it's all good. (Chicago last night, Dallas vs. Pitt, etc). Here are my picks this week....

Miami vs. San Fran.....Take Miami lay the points, call it a day. San Fran has become one of my favorite teams to watch this year and Shawn Hill looks like Will Ferrell....I love it. Frank Gore runs and scratches around for yards like a spider and Mike Singletary pulls his damn pants down in the locker room. Now for the bad news...they are playing out of their minds and they are marching east for a 1 pm game....(someone else in this forum pointed this out...) Even if you want to bet San Fran....you have to go with the East Coast favorite here.

Miami -7....

Pittsburgh -2 vs. Ravens...Steelers -2.

Here is another example of a team playing out of their minds....This is really as close to you get to a "Don't believe the hype game." Living in Baltimore it's easy to believe that Joe Flacco is Joe Montana...but he's not....(although maybe in a few years...) Take the vets...Steelers....Besides Flacco started to show his true "greenness," when he started flailing around in the backfield like a half eaten crabcake.

Steelers -2.

Leans Tampa Bay, Detroit, and Dallas.

Short write ups...Tampa is better than Monday Night...need to bounce back...ATL is good but this one will show who the vets are....(Remember this is when all the Rookies legs start getting tired...never played such a long and strenuous season...go with the vets late in the season....).

Detroit...I like this early line simply because it's huge. Detroit is hungry and have covered a fair amount of games this year. I know, I know...you're out there in internet world saying, "Rollie...they suck." I agree....but remember the Dolphins last year...when did they get their win....late in the season...this team could easily cover -17. Some people would take it because it's damn near twenty points...they'd bet against the Colts even if it was a highschool team....just spot them 20 points.

Dallas...Machiavelli once taught that people will fight their hardest with their backs against the wall....Heads will roll if Dallas loses one more game...and I'm not saying they will win out...but they will most certainly win Sunday. I'm just not so confident to make it an official play....

We're going straight to the bank with these...

I'm not a ghost...

I see that people have posted what got me kicked off last week. Well dear sir....I am not a ghost. I have not posted under the name Bdub. Bdub happens to be a friend of mine and I was at his house and posted from the same IP. I know it sounds like crap, but it is absolutely true. I explained this to Wil...and I'm back. Thank you Wil for hearing what I had to say. I know it seems unlikely...but we are different people. Either way, if this bothers all of you I implore you to simply ignore my picks. I don't need you guys to do me any favors...my work will speak for itself. I am going to keep giving my picks and prove to all of you that (with the exception of a few...Randizzle, etc.)that :dancefool I can show you how to get that gold.

Against on that NYJ/Buf total but GL nonetheless. Unless Favre wakes up, which is very possible, there is nothing on the Buffalo offensive side of the ball for this over.

Have to disagree with you on this one on SF.

I will take the points with SF. They have become a good defensive team. If you remember, they went into Buffalo and beat them. Then they dismantled the Jets at home. I'll take the 7 with SF here.

OK... for Pitt vs. Baltimore...don't know if you've looked at this
but Pitt has not beaten Baltimore at home since 2002.

They are 5-0 against Pitt. I see a Baltimore victory here.

OK...for the leans.....

TB...NO WAY on TB here... TAKE ATLANTA.... Home team wins
again in the NFC South....Has there been an NFC team south that has lost to a division rival at home???? NOPE. Also with
no Garcia, I will give 3 to TB.

Now for Detroit at Indy. I will admit that +17 is quite a bit, but
Detroit is a horrible team and Indy is finding its groove. I personally see at beatdown of like 31-7 Indy, I personally am playing the UNDER on this game.

And for Dallas, being in Texas, it is tough for me to go against my Cowboys, but they are falling apart. NYG just went through the BS with Plax... and I am sure Coughlin ain't going to go through that circus again. Watch NYG be focused and Dallas afraid and fumbling with JJones all over the place. I hate to say it and I hope I am wrong but I see Dallas losing this badly to the NYG. Play the under here for sure. and....well NYG.

Rollie....I hate to say this, but I'm picking almost the exact opposite of your picks....except for the Saints and the over
which this week I am 1-0-1.

Anyways, TAKE or FADE, your choice.

With the GB(-1) vs. Jville. May play a small bit on GB.

Tough one to call on this though

Dear Coitus

You bring up some very valid points....Unfortunately I think they are extremely short-sighted....Remember you have Joe Flacco....he's a rookie that looked horrible last week...just some food for thought....you do the dishes. History is great to remember, but not to live by. :103631605

I guess that is why we have these forums. To agree or disagree.

The only true way to find out is to play the game

Steelers -2." - Has the line moved from BALTIMORE -2 to PITTSBURGH -2, if so -what caused it ? :think2:
