Best pitcher ever, Roger gives newyorkers some hope, Roger basically got the people of Newyork through the whole 9-11 thing single handidly with his pitching.

Dan Duckett made a huge blunder not paying this guy off.

At the time it was one of the move Duquette made that may have made some sense.....

Clemens is a great pitcher but not the best ever....

Its still amazing the career he`s had since leaving Beantown..

I say he still goes in as a Red Sox , wow it is a tough one though , but also he played in Toronto, so he still has played 2/3 of his career in Boston...Should be interesting...

Railbird, what are you talking about..."got New York through the whole 9/11 thing with his pitching"?

If this statement wasn't so assinine it might be offensive.

Rail , I didn`t even bother commenting about Roger getting NYC through 9/11 which was a very odd thing to say....But saying Clemens is the greatest Yankees player ever?

Did you forget Babe, Lou, Joe D, Mickey, Reggie, Mattingly and Jeter, just to name a few?

4 seasons as a YAnkees player......

Vini_ I don`t know, I imagine its a trick question , perhaps a late inning substitution with a pitcher getting one chance?

Yes, it's Mickey Mantle! Found it today doing some research for another project. He also played 2nd and 3rd. Knew he played first late in his career but never knew he played the other positions!!

I not only find this unfounded statement as verging on the ridiculous, but also find it extremely offensive. You sound like a fool. Some bully from Dayton Ohio (lol) did not help this city pull itself through tragedy - we did it by ourselves.

100% of New Yorkers would want to wrap their hands around your throat after reading this.

Roger won 6 cyyoungs, guidry 1, I think catfish won zero. Babe ruth didnt play aginst black people, either did dimaggio. Clemens is clearly the best yankee ever.

Clemens is the best athlete newyork has had since Frank Gifford. Knicks, giants, and jets are losers, Clemens is the ONLY thing newyork has going for it.

You are beyond clueless. You are out of touch with reality. If you ever step foot off a plane in NY may be struck by lightning.
