I'm sorry but that's a big deal. Playing in 4 degrees,...with a tear, it will tighten up plenty of times. Rodgers is still a stud don't get me wrong but it will Def have some problems.

its not as this wasn't the case the whole time now its just being reported publicly. its a slight tear therefore a recovery time is somewhere in neighborhood of 2-3 weeks he certainly won't be 100% but i imagine he'll be numbed up prior to the game and i think the pack will still light the boys up..

If Dallas defense hits him.a couple of times, I don't see how the Packers light anyone up.

I took the Packers at Tampa week 16 & the Packers were inside the 5 several times & couldn't score a TD, luckily they were playing Tampa & still covered.

IMO, Dallas runs it down the Packers throat.......

Matt Flynn - Dec 15 2013 vs DAL
26/39 for 299 yds. 4 TDs (all in 2ndH). 1 int.

I guess if Flynn plays, it's not all that bad...

You do realize that Dallas was picked to come in last place in their division in 2014 based on their 2013 team?

This Dallas team has proved they can win on the road & have achieved more than any if these supposed experts thought they could.

I take nothing away from Flynn, but Rodgers will be shot up to play the whole game.

If Flynn comes in & Dallas has the lead, game over!

Picked to come last by who? Some were expecting DAL to have one of the best o-lines in the league.

And DAL def won't be stopping anybody. They held IND to 7 points, but IND came into that game not giving a damn. As I stated. Flynn threw 4 TDs in the 2ndH last year against these same Cowboys. No reason he can't repeat that. Unless GB def can't get off the field.

line still holding at 6 at places now.. on covers and here too good majority taking the cowgirls and you got the joe the plumber types thinking cowgirls too i'll lay the wood like a lumberjack with this one.. GB will win imo by more than 1 score and i think Rodgers will play well enough to get the job done everyone else will step up on both sides of the ball. TCG i'd wish ya luck pal but i'd be lying lol

Rodgers met Thursday morning with team physician Pat McKenzie, who determined Rodgers ready to practice. However he will practice on Saturday and is taking aqua puncture on his calf. Rodgers' mobility was limited significantly when he returned after missing two series against the Lions. He did not leave the pocket on any of his second-half passing attempts, although he completed 11 of 13 passes and a touchdown. He also scored on a 1-yard quarterback sneak. I personally think the cold at Lambeau Field will help his calf. his calf is torn, so he might not be mobile, So what? he will stay in pocket and throw for 300 yards and establish a good running game.

Lol.......its all good. Don't use Covers as a base for the line. Use intelligent & reliable books.

I still think the line will close at Gbay -4.5......

Don't you get some kind of info on local books? I'm gonna see if I can get some as well, but its only 1 guy.

i hope you are right as i hold futures on both Dallas 25 to 1 & NE 5 to1.

FWIW, as a guy who has had calf trouble before I can say the cold makes it a LOT worse & more likely for the tear to worsen, i will be shocked if here's anywhere near 100% effectiveness, it certainly makes it more predictable for Dallas to know they are dealing with a guy who can't escape the pocket....I was astounded at what he was able to do in the Detroit game but no way i would be betting on him to be able to do this again for a whole game.

I'm not sure about this week but the Seahawks getting to the super bowl seems like a very good play

Playing in Lambeau....in the middle of January.... is a bitch.....The weather plays such a significant roll requiring teams to make adjustments which distracts from traditional game planning. The game starts out bitter cold and it gets colder as the game moves on. This is where the Packers have the advantage, living in that environment.

I've heard rumors that Rodgers has been working out with these two Austrian body builders developing HUGE calf muscles so he should be pumped up for this game.
