yeah its hard not to play them with Weaver/Wilson, and I keep thinking there bats will come to life, might be time to stop betting them until they prove themselves.

Agreed. It's really hard to pass on them with Weaver/Wilson (definitely Weaver) but their bullpen and bats aren't stable at all. Like you said, until they proven themselves, I'll have to pass on them.

Well considering its 40 degrees here today I think you made the right choice. Wait til it's warm in the Summer when they are playing a good team. If you're gonna subject yourself to Cub baseball you may as well watch em get their ass kicked by a good team.

you know Edinson hasnt faced the Phillies since 2008, and thats where those stats are from.

everyone on the team right now has a very small sample size vs. him, besides Hunter Pence who has hit against him 18 times and has a .167 average with 0 HR's

Jimmy Rollins has had 7 AB's vs him (that was back in 2008) and he is 1-7 hitting .143

everyone else is under 5 AB's from him and there numbers are decent.

When SD has started Edinson Volquez this year, SD is 0-3 on the ML when Edinson has taken the mound

and dating back to last year to June 12th. When Edinson has taken the mound his team is 1-11 on the ML.
