I will use this thread to track his bowl plays. The same unit requirements will be in pace (10,15,35), the ones Rodd himself said he would be using.

I will have the regular season (college and pro) listed here separately, but will start the bowl season 0-0.

While it's highly unlikely that Rodd can overcome such a horrible season, he himself has stated that he has "killed the man" something like 7 of 8 bowl seasons. Given the chase nature of this season, the plays on every TV game, etc, many would find that hard to believe, but like everyone else, we're all 0-0 for the bowls.

Again, let me say that Rodd has been a gentleman all during the season, and while I disagree completely with his betting habits I also think some of the replys to him were a bit over the top. The one thing that unfortunately can be said is that Rodd does not appear to be a strong 'capper of games, and the only thing that can change this perception in my eyes, is TIME, lots of it.

Until we see evidence of stronger money management, selective 'capping, and a couple of seasons to overcome the 2008 disaster Rodd will have a lot to prove.

Bowl season starts

Regardless of what Rodd has said about 8 straight bowl winning seasons, he will be charged with performing now. Fair or not fair? His regular season performance makes for lots of doubters.

I have no idea about the past, but this track was done to verify Rodd's proficiency. The regular season chasing was proof enough that we have a problem. Now the early bowl success has changed fairly rapidly. It's going to take a few years of proper tracking plus a new capping method for Rodd to overcome the truth of this season.

Bowl season is not over yet, but the "killing the man" phrase is no longer appropriate.

Thanks to everyone for being patient with the tracking here. I hope it has proven useful. I'll hopefully be able and willing to do this again in 2009, although it just seems like yesterday that 2008's football season got started. Quite a year.

The truth

The sad truth is that there is no one who will attest to even one winning season.

Yes, there have been years when Rod has shown a profit, but it was done by digging a huge hole and then releasing 100-300 unit plays to "show a profit". In exchange, customers who were promised a refund if the season didn't produce a profit were denied a refund based on a unit chase that no one could possibly have afforded.

Anyone on this site who has questioned Rod's tactics has been called a "jealous tout" by Rod and the issue was never addressed. Among these so called "jealous touts" are long-time respected members of this site who are far from touts. Take note that there are dozens of people who have posted attesting to Rod getting killed year in and year out and then chasing with several hundred unit plays, and yet not a single person of the "THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE" has come forward to back Rod....odd huh?

This tracking opened eyes once and for all about how bad of a capper this guy really is.

Also, note that Rod is quite capable of touting a winning week or updating his bowl record when he is 10-4....but where are the updates now??

In summary, the truth about Rod was exposed this year, and any credibility that he claimed to have is gone. Mission Accomplished!
