Wrigley shouldn't be touched. Operate the team like the Oakland A's if you have to. As long as the team is competitive the fans will come out. I love Wrigley. It's important to maintain the last two surviving stadiums from baseball's past Wrigley and Fenway. It's a great experience. I don't have any respect for the rooftops because they became commercial ventures a while ago. Still, I would not install a video scoreboard.

Where are all the great Cub fans today? A little weather and Wrigley is empty on a Friday. There may be 3000 fans there right now in the 7th inning. In fact, there may be more seagulls there than fans.

Huckel, how is it the best place to watch a game? Depending on where you're sitting, there's a very good chance that a beam is blocking your view and/or you have to sit uncomfortably to watch the game because all the seats face straight ahead rather than toward the plate. New stadiums like detroit and minnesota are so nice and far less obnoxious drunks.

we'll agree to disagree, i have been to about 20 stadiums and wrigley is the worst to watch a game at. And the only close 2nd might be fenway
:):)
There isn't a better seat in baseball than the boxes or the general admission LF bleachers. There are a lot of obnoxious drunks at The Cell also.

CHICAGO -- After buying up rooftop seating across the street from Wrigley Field, Chicago Cubs ownership announced a new, interactive website for purchasing tickets for 10 rooftops located on both Sheffield and Waveland Ave.
The Ricketts family owns a total of 9 of those rooftops after recent purchases and will allow Sheffield-Waveland Rooftops, Inc. to manage Wrigley Rooftops, the brand formed by Ricketts.
Wrigley Rooftops.com launched in advance of the 2016 season and will showcase all 10 rooftops and provide for purchasing tickets. Previously, former rooftop owners sued the Ricketts family, but court rulings favored the team, paving the way for the family to buy the rooftops which provide views of the park. Prices start at $65 per ticket.
According to a Wednesday press release, tickets for the upcoming season are on sale now.

Why they didn't just build a new stadium someplace with parking and Wrigley features is beyond me. People would get over it. The Packers remodeled Lambeau and made it modern. You can put lipstick on Wrigley but it still is a pig. I know it has history la-la-la, but there's no parking and still is an old facility. Having to charge people $65 to sit on rooftops across the street is not a good business model, especially if you have a cash-cow like the Cubs will be in the next few years.

Can I ask how many games you have seen at Wrigley?
