You mean the qb who has more passing yards, tds, completion percentage , more 5000 yard passions seasons by himself then every qb in nfl history combined .

cant believe someone would have the audacity to call someone in first place in every category passing in nfl history as being the best qb ever

You're telling me Drew Brees is the best QB in NFL history over Brady, Manning or Montana? Is that what you're saying?

Roethlisberger is clutch. But not top 5 anymore.

Brees might be the greatest home qb of all time. A little bit different on the road. But they obviously have been transitioning their team to be more outdoor competitive. Run game and defense. Traded jimmy graham for max unger. Brees is still elite through all of it. Big ben has the best wr best rb in the league. Without those two weapons nobody would put him top 5 right now.

Brady Home record = 128-24
Brees Home record = 83-47

Brees is in second place in that category (current QB's).

Yeah. Brees went through a rebuild. Brady has the best upper management in football. Look at playoffs when both sides were good.
I know pats lost twice at home to the Ravens in the playoffs.

Saints on the other hand mite be undefeated at home in the playoffs with brees....

Brees also had no D or running game most of his career. This also is why he has great stats. They are throwing the ball from start to finish. Can't hold a lead and can't kill the clock....in most years. Brees is a baller, but you have to look at all the facts.

That's not his fault. And how does not having a running game help his stats? That means everything is on him. I do give a lot of credit to sean payton just like the patriots staff deserves credit. But lets be serious they Rob Ryan running their defense. Without a good run game with Rob Ryan running your defense....good luck.

Lets not forget having to rebound from a team who lost their coach for a year and had the worst statistical defense in the history of football the two years after bounty gate. Very tough to reincentivise a defensive you were paying extra money to go and make plays. That's why they were the worst defense of all time. Yet, Brees took them to the playoffs the next year. I am looking at all of the facts.

I'll take Brees at home over any qb at home. Especially due to those circumstances he went through and still is 2nd of all current QB's.

Patriots don't throw the ball 30+ times? They blow more teams out. Probably why they run more. Saints need Brees to go off or they had no shot all those years

Richard Sherman wants revenge after getting released.
The newly signed 49ers cornerback told the MMQB.com Sunday he feels “vengeful” after the Seahawks fired him Friday, and general manager John Lynch said the 49ers’ ability to play Seattle twice a year in the NFC West was very appealing to the jilted All-Pro.
“I’m vengeful in that way,” Sherman said of facing Seattle, later adding: “I love the (Seahawks) fan base to death, and I loved playing there. It was such a great opportunity. I helped the organization get to a great place and stay there. But now it’s like I abandoned them. People are out there burning my jersey. Come on. I’m not the one who let me go. They let me go. I didn’t abandon anybody.”

That was my point. He has to throw it for the Saints to be competitive. Not a knock on his skill, he just took advantage of his surroundings.
