Lets see ... Rice's contributions to the 1st Bush term:

* Solidify her bureaucratic instincts

* Perceive the world as though we were still involved in a cold war with Russia

* Lie to the 9/11 committee about the resulting culpability of Bush and herself with respect to the policy disasters that followed

Now, Bush is rewarding her by giving her Colin Powell's job. This is a Bush administration pattern: reward the loyal person who shares in the resulting disaster of policy by giving that person more responsibility, resulting in even more serious errorBased on Bush's second term selections thus far, it appears that Bush is after loyal liars, not exceptional expertise, and the nation will suffer accordingly

powell was honorable he coudnt hack it when coruptness reared its ugly head he couldnt stand it to be right but have to cater to the bush madness, the policys and ideals that make no sense.

ok fine. why hold anything back let them toss all the jokers in to the mix let this be a big of a joke as possible. i hope that someday it becomes so painfully obvious red states say wow dey bad dey not do a good job. i dont feel good about our presadeent he not doing a good job for us.

thats the scope man. let that little cookie crumble down.

when the dems get back in we take retards and make them smart you dont have to read a 87 text book no more. you dont have to struggle anymore the help is here. economy gets good we dont piss on other nations we dont lie to united nations we make friends.

republicans stuck four fingers in the air. they shouted four more years. they wanted to show us how many brain cells they have living in their head. and it was just four. i dont fault the bush backers they dont know any better. they are waiting for solid leadership. right now looking like a bunch of kids with a sub when the teacher is normaly strict. they messed up, the intelligent are smaller numbered but thats the way it is. rambunctious for no reason. they want someone to come in and stick the order and work ethic back into the system.

Hopefully, the "poorest" millionaire can take solace in being an another miserable failure to get a promotion in the Bush Admin, well ... that, and that she has an oil tanker named after her -- which is, ironically, the perfect symbolic reference to this admin.

Well said .. "let the cookie crumble .."

We are watching this country dissolve from within with Bush stacking everything in his favor and getting all folks aligned that will agree with every move he makes

Fun times ahead!!

This administration is like a degenerate gambler maxing out the credit chasing with double digit chalk. Its own are concerned but still enabling the behavior. Won't last long.The end will come for it and it will be sooner than most think.

Those of us that can't stand bush and his administration are not happy. But just wait until the, what was it, 60 million that voted for this shiny turd start smelling the foul odor we've become used to. Yes, good times ahead for sure.

He could not hack it?? Perhaps he just did not want to be a part of a fraudulent administration.

Powell Refused to lie for Bush. I think he could hack it in a legit administration just fine.
