KWIK E - You'll be making money left and right by turning your betting money onto this rider/trainer combination. Finished in the place spot, but easily 2nd over the third horse. Those types usually run well next time out. This mare is in good physical condition. Finished second on June 7th. In this race here, this thoroughbred has clearly shown signs that she likes the grass. Her speed figs are the highest in the field for this distance-surface. ACTIVELY ENGAGED - It's a big plus that this first time starter has been working over the same track that she makes her debut at today. The addition of Lasix might make this animal wake up in this field.

HOWBOUTTHEMCOWBOYS - Trainer Ness moves this horse down the ladder based on class rating points to face a less competitive field. Look for a sharp race in this race. This gelding is in nice condition, having run a strong race on Jun 8th, finishing third. This animal brings in a lot of dough per race. At the top in this affair.

PROUDMIAMICITIZEN - I'm forecasting a less than stellar effort out of him today. TACTICAL HERO - Didn't do a whole lot last time out. Probably won't do much running today. This colt recorded a speed rating in his last affair which likely isn't good enough in today's event.MAJESTIC DOCTOR - The speed figure last time around the track doesn't fit very well in this affair when I look at the class figure of today's contest. Mark this horse as a possibly overvalued contestant.

#3--GINGER RUSH - Nicks enters this one in a spot where she should fit well based on her last 2 speed figures. Fits well considering the fact that the last time she tried this distance she got a rating good enough to win today. The May 15th race at Gulfstream Park was at a class level of (84). Dropping down in the class scale considerably, so she should be in a good position to win. I have to like this filly's chances of winning at the shorter trip. Leading into this race, this thoroughbred has registered 3 Equibase speed figures that are equal to or higher than today's class rating. That's a good sign she should compete well right here in this race. This filly's last figure is strong enough to prove victorious here, I'll wager on her today.

FOILEEN - I really like sprint horses that make a fast turnaround. Gelding took a little vacation, but has been racing into shape. Stick with this horse. Coming off the pace, I think he'll be in a terrific spot to crush them in the stretch.

When this jock and trainer combine forces you have to take a look. Batista and Adams have been fabulous together. Filly's last race was against tougher open company. She's in with easier 'state breds' today. I have to like this filly's chances of winning at the shorter trip. This horse's last race was out at Louisiana Downs in a race with a class rating of 71. Dropping considerably in class rating this time puts her in a solid position in today's race.

All her trips to the winner's circle have been here at Santa Anita. JAN'S SPIRIT - Ran against 'open' company in the last race, in with state breds today. This jock and handler have a favorable ROI when they join forces. Have to give this filly a shot. Ran a solid outing last time out within the last 30 days.

COMBAT DIVER - I look for this pony to sit off the pace and make a solid move on the turn, cruising straight on to the finish line. This jock and trainer's horses have been producing a lucrative return on investment. EPS (earnings per start) is something that I think can be a very important selection factor. This thoroughbred is ranked number one in this bunch.

PRINCESSOFTHIEVES - I like this filly a lot here. She shows a lot of consistency, finishing in the money frequently. I'm focusing on the class of this thoroughbred, and this one is the 'classiest' of the bunch.

My contacts in the racing industry are all over this horse yet the pubic isn't at this posting.
