RG is not a savior for Chicago. He is a mediocre QB coming from a great passing school florida after a pretty decent High school backing. If I'm wrong, then I'll admit it and apologize. You can bump this up, but I predict Rex can/will do little good for the bears.

Good luck

I intercepted Grossman in a 7 on 7 tourney during the summer before his senior year. So Youre right, he can't be very good.

With Lovie Smith as head coach Grossman will be asked to not lose games ala Ravens' Kyle Boller. The "D" will likely have to carry the team and make big plays like it did during the 2001 season, when Chicago surprised everyone by going 13-3. I really like the new Bears defense this year and look forward to betting around it in certain situations once the regular season starts.

It will take him a full year to learn the offense for sure. Bears look pretty smart signing Thomas Jones because theres little else there.

Not saying much but Grossman is better than any recent Florida QB, with some upside, the Bears lack playmakers...the Kid @ Fla currently could be the next Charlie Ward but with a real arm!

I dunno General, when you think about it, Grossman has seen just about everything offensively, playing in Spurrier's complicated system. Most systems now should be a piece of cake to him, and that could mean success.......

I agree. I do not think Grossman will be a good pro quarterback. It wont be any more easy now especially with Booker being traded. Just look at that group of receivers. When David Terrell is your number one go to guy, thats pretty sad. Terrell, Wade and Gage, arent going to scare anybody. This team looks like it may struggle struggle on offense. My predicition is they give him this year and two more years after that, then he will end up the next Chris weinke and be a career backup.

That will be the problem I think also The_Man, his low talent level at the receiver position, so in the end, it looks as if the questions about Grossman may not truly be answered until he has something to work with. Unless, of course, he still puts up good numbers with the offense surrounding him........
