Revere had a free shot. He knew WSEX would of graded game only as a $500 loss if game went down. He had this all planned and then had a plan if he won (go to the boards and cry)!!!! It was a win win for the player!!! He pulled it off on WSEX and you dumb posters!!!!! He was risking $500 for 40 Dimes!!!!!!! That was the real story. This guy was no rookie and picked and honest book like wsex to go after, they were the perfect target(software glitch, ect). The phony stuff like phone and e-mail was all pre planned in case of the big win!!!!!!! If he lost he would of just made himself available by changing his phone number to a real one!!!!

Was never ever going to be graded as a loss!! You guys were all wsex supporters before and now you turn 360 degrees!!! Honest of wsex does not change overnight and they did not need to 40 dimes. It is chump change to them!!! You can bet your life on wsex refunding the money and the player knew this!! He picked a real honest book to exploit. This guy was not stupid. Wake up boys!!

The final ending player scammed 40 dimes!!!!

And all WSEX had to do was cancel the bet before or even during the first 2 hours (est.)of the game and we would not have an issue. I do not believe one single person would not support WSEX if they had done this. However, since they did not, they, by these actions (or lack thereof), accepted the bet.

You want futher "proof" that this position is correct. WSEX paid, that says a lot!

So if WSEX had never batted an eye at the action, made no attempt to contact him and didn't consider voiding the wagers....you think Revere would have asked for a refund and came here to bitch because HE spent two hours placing 40K in wagers? What the heck would his argument have been? In the immortal words of...ummm...not sure, but "ARE YOU DRUGS, SON"????

JJ,
You've just fell out of the top 500 insiders.

The action was not voided prior to the start of the event, if that would have been done Revere has "ZERO" case.

This isn't proof at all. Look at the Rio/SG case. Rio had no business paying the scam artist but they did.

You were the first to jump all over WSEX when this started. For you to turn 360 and now state the refunds would have been refunded doesn't make sense. There is no way of knowing if the wagers would really have been refunded.

Why do you think Revere spent the extra time and hassle to make all those posts through an encrypted anon portal website??

To make it very hard to track the originating IP.

Think about it. If the bets lost, revere calls up WSEX for a balance check. Then he plays innocent. What happened to my money.

Well sir you placed 130 bets on a soccer game at 4 am for a total of $40,000.

Think about how easy this is.

I never placed more than 2 or 3 bets on a soccer game and I called in because the limit online is $500. How could you accept 80 times your limit online?

This is OUTRAGEOUS, I want to speak to a manager.

A couple of hours later the techs say the posts came in through an anon portal. This is not typical of the players posting in the past.

$500 to $40,000

And you CHUMPS were standing there up in arms with him.

I hope you all got a piece.

JJ, I'd like to hear, "from the inside" of course, exactly how Revere could have gotten the wagers voided had Man U have lost and had WSEX fully accepted the action. I really want to hear in detail how exactly that could have happened. C'mon mr. offshore genius. Let's have it!

The bottom line is WSEX should have voided the action immediately and Revere has no case. Revere knew exactly what he was doing, however, WSEX didn't handle the situation properly. The book can't have it both ways.

Gimme a fricken break! You think anyone in their right mind would have bought that someone in Uruguay just happened to steal his WSEX ID and password and decided to spend 2 hours placing wagers of varying amounts in a way that only a knowledgable WSEX accountholder would have come up with and did it all for....NOTHING! What benefit would anyone else have gained by doing this? NONE. I suppose I can't say for sure that Revere didn't have this in mind but I think I can confidently say that no one would ever have bought the story.

it keeps on smelling fishy IMO.

WSEX worked it out with class. Kudos.

Revere is a scammer with 40K more in his pockets.
