Hopefully people living in CR can help.
Does anyone know if there is anything better than Direct T.V. here in Costa Rica? I've been here for quite a while now. I'm really tired of watching movies with Spanish sub-titles and watching ESPN(dos)(MLB in Spanish)

. I recently heard there's a way to get a different system all together with all the great stations from the US. I've got three D T.V. boxes in the house now and it's not the cheapest. Just wondering if anyone in Costa Rica had any ideas on any other better systems than Direct T.V. and what prices were if any.

The service is expensive but since its your only other way to get real tv its not that bad if you think of it as a long term investment, the dish is huge and you will have to shell like 1700 dollars but after that its like 40 dollars a month

You get a bunch of channels however one trade off you have to accept is that in certain days if it rains too hard or if the sun is interfering (electromagnectic interference that is ) you might not be able to watch some channels say from noon - 6pm

This is not a problem to me since I usually watch tv at night except on the weekends of course

LOL, Stone Cold. Just a lot easier talking on the phone and getting info, that's all.
BTW - I'm a male, tall, medium build, dark hair. I like playing pool, and breathing in exhaust from buses in Costa Rica.
