You are probably right on that. Most locals have a minimum $50-100 bet

Po do you need $100 in your account or just $100 in action over the week (ie lots of $1 wagers! u could hit $100 in action with as little as $25 in your account pretty easy) if you dont blow it all on large wagers and at least hit a few winners along the way.
