After the election comes up what can the republican's do to have a chance at winning again? What direction do they go? Do they keep on with the same rhetoric? IE: " secure our borders" "they take your guns" "no more hand outs" "decrease the national debt" "Obamacare needs to be repealed" will it be another 4 years of this or will they turn to a different plan? So do they have anyone who can step it up, let's face it all the candidates they had this year have no chance in 4 years. What about Paul Ryan? Just wondering cause Trump has as much chance of winning as the Twins do pitching Phil Hughes in LA against Kershaw

if we wanted to be liberals, we'd be democrats

but since we don't and we're not, we keep fighting for what we value, and since we tend to be on the higher end of the economic scale, why would we espouse to be more like those who tend to live in the poor inner cities?

we can't overcome the 90/10 inner city vote, we're not going to win the racist black vote, we'll never win the selfish ignorant vote, we have to hope for middle class unity and a eventually a more educated society

we're also very good at controlling Congress, and do amazingly well in the midterm elections

to think we have to act differently is........ (sorry, I can't think of a respectful way to say it)

Unfortunately the days of being accountable for your life are now over and the bottom sucking loser drain illegal and starbuck crowd have migrated to the lies of the democratic party.

EU here we come....good fucking grief. Congrats liberals, people would rather get free shit and be mad at "corporations" and blame someone else as opposed to the way shit used to be when you earned it.

I disagree with the both of you. You guys make it sound like the republicans have no chance no matter what they do, think about the party and what has been brought to the table. Why can't they find something or someone better? You guys blame in on the people, I blame it on the party

The R's had the right idea after their shellacking in 2012, a Political autopsy, stop being the Stupid party, etc. Then, they had success in the 2014 off year election, where no one shows up except the loud and committed, being more divisive and racist than ever. So they forgot about not being stupid, and instead went for the worst candidate ever, tripled down on the divisive and racist shit, and got conned by a con man.
Now what, if G-d willing, Drumpf gets the shellacking he deserves, and America needs? Stop being the stupid party AND MEAN IT. Nominate sane POTUS candidates like a Huntsman, a Kasich, who normal people could actually vote for. Stop catering to the idiots, like those that dominate this shithole, and start appealing to normal people. Stop painting the Gov't as evil. You are the Gov't, make sure it works to the best of it's ability, instead of trying to destroy it.

The One Hundred-Fourteenth United States Congress is the current meeting of the legislative branch of the United Statesfederal government, composed of the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives.

The 2014 elections gave the Republicans control of the Senate (and control of both houses of Congress) for the first time since the 109th Congress.

With 247 seats in the House of Representatives and 54 seats in the Senate, this Congress began with the largest Republican majority since the 71st Congress of 1929–1931.

Not bad.

So who will they be able to turn to in 2020 to beat Hillary? Can't throw any people they did this year into race. Would Paul Ryan get backing if he were to decide to run? Sounds like a job he doesn't want.

I think this type of discussion and the positions taken by left wingers reflect the epitome of ignorance

I'm not sure why anyone from the left would be proud of the current state of affairs and the across the board failures

They're counting on people always accepting failure, and they think we need to change

Too early to say. Depends on the Job she does, as to whether it'll be someone with a real chance, or someone just making a name for 2024.
Kasich should run again, if Drumpf gets blown out. He can easily say what a mistake they made passing him up in 2016, with his great poll numbers against Hillary. Huntsman will be young enough to run again if he wants to, Ryan will run if he thinks Hillary is beatable, otherwise he'll wait until 2024. If Rubio wins his Senate seat, he's likely to try again, for similar reasons to Kasich. There will be some names we don't know yet.
The R's will have to run POTUS candidates that appeal to Young people, who are less and less hung up on Social Issue crap each cycle.

Congress needs to keep obstructing and defunding the progressive agenda until Democrats stand for Liberty again. Why are Republicans enabling the destruction of America by continuing to fund Obamacare, the EPA, the NEA, the UN, massive illegal immigration and massive regulations etc?

Shut it all down until Democrats come to the table with serious reforms and compromise.

No more conformation of radical left judges under Obama and Hillary, either. Only those who respect the supreme law of the land need apply.

If people are stupid enough to elect the Hildabeast, reopen the Benghazi hearings and start a criminal investigating of the Clinton Foundation.

These gutless RINOs pissing and moaning about not winning elections are their own worst enemy.

In contrary, Hillary certainly fits this bill.

Those of us who are fiscal conservatives can see what is happening much clearer than the far left or the far right. The economy is clear and the amount of debt that Obama is responible for shows how irresponsible he really is and how his agenda rules the roost. We are stuck with the nominees from each party and the bottom line is who most benefits protecting this country financially. If Hillary would run this country the way they run their foundation it would be great lol. At least Trump has been involved in business as opposed to relying on politics for financial benefits. Immigration does not help the economy and not protecting our borders has proven to endanger our citizens. Isis is a major factor in it all and must be recognized as radical terrorism. If you can't define something you cannot deal with it properly which is blatantly obvious as Orlando showed. As I have often pointed out our Lobbying system has ruined us and must be refined and more closely scrutinized. A Republican supreme court judge is as responsible for the Obamacare fiasco as is Obama. Fiscal conservatism is the way to go but lobbyists do not promote that. This country is in a down spin but in the end Hillary is not the answer for way too many reasons. I do think Trump has the best interests of this country at heart and if he can turn the economy around it would be in everyone's best interest.

Basically, the GOP needs to nominate someone like Trump who exposes the left's evil agenda and takes on the gaystream media, but without the distracting self-aggrandizing carnival sideshow.

Imagine if Republicans did what Russ does - connecting the dots and exposing these crooks front and center every day, the Hildabeast would be lucky to escape prosecution, let alone win an election.

The Stupid Party should have nominated Ted Cruz.

*sigh*

The facts are that there are so many articles that connect dots to Hillary, and on a daily basis as you described. And it is far from over. The ignorant continue to ignore LOL

I'm not asking anyone to change their values, in asking what strategy can they go with to win? The current strategy is provin to fail time and again. I think there are a lot of democrats or independents who could go
With the right if they had a viable candidate. Trump would have had a decent chance if he could have just shut is damn mouth instead of spewing hateful nonsense, the republicans seen to always put their foot in their mouth. I would have voted Kasich

Strategy? Be front and center on TV, twitter and every available media outlet exposing the left's evil agenda while articulating a positive vision of liberty and prosperity for America.

Basically, a conservative Trump without the blowhard-ness, pettiness, flip-flopping, "deal making" and personal attacks.

You’re assuming they will lose this election but that’s another discussion for another time. If they lose it will be decades, maybe never.
