It would be difficult for Republicans to become more pathetic, but they keep finding ways in doing so. What a waste of time for America and American's... just more political shenanigans in their constant attacks against Obama rather than actually doing something to help the country. It's absolutely pathetic what the Republicans have become. You have to be mentally insane to vote for this sorry ass group of people to take over the Senate. Even more pathetic political games will be played. Sad time to be an American.

The Republican-led House approved a resolution on Wednesday authorizing Speaker John Boehner to sue President Barack Obama over claims he exceeded his executive authority at the expense of Congress. The vote was 225-201.
Republicans argue the President's executive action to change Obamacare and make other policy decisions on his own were unconstitutional because it's the job of Congress to make or change laws.

An impeachment conspiracy?

Boehner: No GOP plans to impeach Obama
House authorization now allows GOP-leaders to have the unusual suit filed in federal court. The time frame for that is not clear.
Not a single House Democrat voted for it, and five Republicans opposed it. They were: GOP members Paul Broun of Maryland, Scott Garrett of New Jersey, Thomas Massie of Kentucky, Steve Stockman of Texas, and Walter Jones of North Carolina.
The vote takes partisan rancor in Washington to a new level less than four months before congressional midterms. The focus on Obamacare also magnifies politics around the sweeping health law Republicans didn't support and have tried to derail since it's approval in 2010.
Dems claim impeachment coming
Democrats quickly seized to turn the debate on the lawsuit, saying prior to the vote that the real desire of the GOP is to ultimately impeach Obama.
Boehner, who has repeatedly said he disagrees with those pushing impeachment, attempted to shut down that discussion this week.
Insisting that Republicans have "no plans" and "no future plans" to impeach Obama, Boehner denounced the talk about impeachment as "a scam started by Democrats at the White House."
But Democrats seized on polls showing a majority of Americans oppose any effort to remove the President from office, and aren't letting go of the issue.
House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi said the lawsuit was "on a path to nowhere or maybe, among some in your ranks a path to impeachment."
Apparently not satisfied with Boehner's assurance, Pelosi directed this at him: "If you don't want to hear people use the word impeachment as your people have done then tell them impeachment is off the table."

To be fair, Obama has wasted almost 6 years of American's lives already and there is likely 2 more yet to come. What a disaster. Shame. Having said that, suing him is idiotic also.

Nothing will change when he's gone. Republicans will still be in control of the House.

hopefully the senate also. Maybe then Obama's last 2 years and the new republican president's first 2 years will not be a total loss.

Yea. Would be fun going back in to a Depression. Glad you support suffering. Kind of strange though.

But then again, Republicans have a history of being the biggest spenders, so maybe the country would be better off. They can convince their degenerate base that spending is necessary.

I actually said the same thing about Romney. I've predicted this horrible economy for years. And it's not going to get any better until some repub starts another war.
and the dems also vote for it of course. Nice try I see what you did there. war is money after all.

I'm fine with spending no matter who votes for it. Just sad it requires war to get them to spend the money we need.

What can he accomplish? Congress does nothing and then sues him for doing something. The do nothing Repubs have created the worst Congress in the history of America. Very sad to see.

Finger pointing and avoiding the question. Guess I'll answer it for you:

How many fundraisers the past 2 weeks?
Where did he go the other day to have lunch?
What else has he done the past 2 weeks?

Why don't you look at both sides. What have republicans asked for that Obama has supported? YET for some reason you can only see what Obama wants that doesn't get supported.

You do realize that both parties are pieces of shot, and there are actual people who look at BOTH sides of what's going on. Your blaming one side, yet the other side is doing the exact same thing.

I don't care what Presidents do on their personal time. I care about policies that help the economy progress. No matter how many fundraisers he goes to Republicans will not accept any policies to help the economy. Even after Obama leaves we'll be in the same shit with Repubs. Only hope is if they get in power and start another war.
