He'll be dealt. These espn gossip reporters are wrong far more often than they are right.

If Bill says "Jimmy is available" it puts him at a disadvantage in trade negotiations. When Browns offer the #12 pick and some other pick for him, he will be going to Cleveland.

"Source close to The Patriots" is said to have said: "if an offer is Right, Jimmy Garoppolo will be Traded."

The source insists coach Bill Belichick will part with Garoppolo if the compensation is right and that One preliminary "offer" has already been floated and another is expected to come soon from a second team.

The Browns and 49ers are two teams interested, and the Bears could be too. Those teams have the first three picks, respectively. The Browns also have the No. 12. Garoppolo will be a free agent after next season, and the Patriots would likely have to franchise him at more than $22 million for 2018 to keep him -- as Tom Brady's backup.

If the Browns can't land Garoppolo, they'll see if Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor becomes a free agent on March 11. If those two options fall through, they'll likely make an offer for Bengals backup AJ McCarron, who wants to be traded and would love to be reunited with Hue Jackson, who coached him in Cincinnati.

The Bengals would likely want at least a second-round pick, one source said, and wouldn't rule out trading within the division.

"We'll listen to whatever anyone is thinking,'' said Bengals director of personnel Duke Tobin. "We're not actively looking to diminish our football team by trading AJ McCarron and that diminishes our football team. It has to be something we feel is valuable enough to warrant doing that. What it is, I don't know. Who it is to, I don't know.

"It's not ideal to trade guys within your division, particularly at that position. But we listen and if something comes up we'll certainly announce it to all you guys.''

The Browns are also seriously considering North Carolina's Mitch Trubisky with the No. 1 pick, and are interested in Deshaun Watson.

Coach Hue Jackson stressed Thursday that the club is doing everything possible to find a winning quarterback."

Mitchell Tribusky (North Carolina Tarheel) is very intriguing to me, I feel like he could be a surprisingly good NFL QB. Just my opinion. i could easily be totally wrong on this.

Tribusky has asked to be referred to by his full first name, Mitchell, from now on, according to ESPN.

Trubisky attended Mentor High School in Mentor, Ohio. During his career he passed for 9,126 yards and 92 touchdowns and rushed for 1,559 career yards and 33 touchdowns and was named "Mister Football" in Ohio.

Exactly. They drafted Brisset for this purpose. They are just publicly negotiating the price, telling those who want him they will have to pony up big. They may not trade him because they don't get their price, but he's available. IMO, he's worth nowhere near what they want for him(a 1st +), but if they can get someone stupid enough to pony up, why not try?
Garoppolo is either trolling the internet at 4AM, or he's been traded. I'd bet on the latter. The idiot Browns probably drastically overpaid, and NE will have maybe the top pick in the NFL draft, or at least the #12 pick+. Cleve will likely be responsible to the AFC championship game, as they also allowed Houston to clear the books to make room for the QB they desperately need in Romo, added to the best D in the League with JJ Watt coming back. https://www.instagram.com/p/BRc6C27BuMq/?taken-by=jimmypolo10&hl=en

Jimmy Garoppolo says goodbye to Boston in instagram postPosted by Curtis Crabtree on March 10, 2017, 5:18 AM ESTGetty ImagesIn an instagram post early Friday morning, New England Patriots quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo said a goodbye to the city of Boston.“So grateful for my time in New England. Peace out Boston,” the message on Garoppolo’s verified instagram account read. The clear indication is that Garoppolo won’t be a Patriots quarterback much longer. Next stop Cleveland? The Browns have been furiously pushing for a trade of Garoppolo in recent weeks. The Patriots have been hesitant to consider moving the backup to Tom Brady and possibly future starter in New England in the post-Brady era. Nevertheless, the Browns have continued to express their interest in trading for Garoppolo despite his making just two total starts in three seasons in New England. With Cleveland acquiring an additional 2018 second-round pick from Houston in exchange for being a vehicle for the Texans salary dump of quarterback Brock Osweiler, the Browns may finally have sufficient draft capital to coax the Patriots into accepting a trade. With 11 draft picks stockpiled in each of the next two drafts, if Cleveland doesn’t have enough picks to get a deal done no one does.Garoppolo’s instragram post obviously hints he’ll be playing elsewhere in 2017. Where that would be is still unknown but Cleveland is the most likely destination.http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...olo-says-goodbye-to-boston-in-instagram-post/

The Plot Thickens. Gotta love the internet, and that someone is wacko enough to hack into Jimmy G's account(if they did) and troll everyone. .............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. Jimmy Garoppolo Instagram goodbye appears to be a hoax Posted by Michael David Smith on March 10, 2017, 5:45 AM ESTAPFor about an hour on early Friday morning, social media was abuzz with an apparent goodbye to New England from Patriots backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. Did Garoppolo’s post mean he had been traded?Apparently not. According to multiple reports, people close to Garoppolo say he’s not on Instagram at 4 a.m., and the post appears to be a hoax.Garoppolo has been the subject of a great deal of trade scrutiny, with the Browns as the team most likely to acquire him. It’s true that the Browns, from all accounts, are high on Garoppolo. And it’s true that the Browns have the draft pick ammunition to go after him in a blockbuster trade. But multiple reports say the Patriots have no plans to trade Garoppolo and would rather have him on the roster as insurance in case Tom Brady gets hurt or begins to show signs of age. Garoppolo becomes a free agent next year and won’t be Brady’s backup forever, but that’s what he remains for now, Instagram posts or not.http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ppolo-instagram-goodbye-appears-to-be-a-hoax/

Chop thinks #1, Jimmy G will ride the bench for the next 2/3 years and #2, the Patriots will invest 40-50+ Million dollars after 2017 in two QB's.Both scenarios scream crazy.

only if TB12 retires will JG be their QB in a few years. I think it's plausible TB will retire after 1 or 2 seasons. I also think it's plausible TB takes a pay-cut to keep JG if that's what BB and RK want.

Brady will be traded after next year. If Jimmy is not traded.

Is this Chop?

I respectfully disagree.

Brady will finish his career in a Patriot uniform. He is and has been the ultimate Patriot, the model player for all other Patriots. He came in as a Patriot. He will go out as a Patriot.

Good Luck today Jimmy

QB Jimmy Garoppolo makes first start since trade from New England at deadline in October — and third of career. He replaced injured C.J. Beathard (left hip, knee) with just over minute left last week and completed both passes, including TD to Louis Murphy as time expired, in San Francisco debut. Garoppolo comes from suburban Arlington Heights, played at Eastern Illinois. ...
