Keep that memory alive because it is not going to get much better next season with games at Notre Dame, Baylor, West Virginia, and TCU, plus a game at home against K-State and the OU rivalry game. Charlie will not last much longer if he cannot find a way to generate some offense against good teams.

defense is great right now. backup qb, backup center, one of the top WRs missing. it was just gonna be a tough year on offense for us. solidify the OL and hopefully they bring along Fr QB Heard and next year is better. Their offense is just not very good against good defenses.....

It gets back to recruiting and Mack didnt do a very good job of it prior to leaving. I think they'll have similar issues next year and not sure Heard will be ready. I know they are not big on Juco's but I'd go get me a stud Juco QB which would give Heard time to develop. I think Swoopes is going to be a great TE but he's not the answer at QB. He put up great numbers in HS but his team never won anything. Texas needs to get back into Skyline HS or Allen HS and get some of these kids that come from winning programs.
