How many times do you have to be walked through an explanation of where the issues of terrorism and assault weapons converge, and where they don't and what the significance of that is? If posters think it's a great idea for the citizens of our nation to put their heads together in search of ways to lower the murder rate in our country I applaud that. If reducing the number of assault weapons is one of those ways then they're going to have to navigate the difficult path of convincing those who want to cling to their guns that they really aren't after all the guns but just those that get in the wrong people's hands.... and then somehow a balance can be struck betwen the two sides then YIPPEE! yes, I'm aware what we are up against and I'm also aware of this latest massacre in Orlando. You can't say with any certainty this killer would have used knives, bombs or anything else if he couldn't get his hands on guns and unlimited ammo. The majority of these attacks have a couple common themes.....killing machine guns are one of those themes. Let's try to stop them from getting those things. It's not a difficult concept to figure out.
