Every weekend is playoffs in CFB

FLORIDA and GEORGIA in a title elimination game today.

TEXAS and TEXAS TECH in a title elimination game today.

Plus, all other teams with one loss are facing
elimination today.

Please dont get me started. Worst major sport going all cause of this crap. Lets all waste the next 2 months arguing who we should vote on being the best team and then to make matters worse, no one ever is convinced the right choice was made. Only sport I have ever followed that leaves you with more of an empty feeling at the end of the season then the beginning.

A playoff in CFB would trump every other sport and takes this sport to a whole new level . Just thinking about the endless possibilliites and not being able to see them so we can settle this crap year in and year out just sickens me.

Would rather watch PLAYOFF ELIMINATION games today!!!

Going to a 16 game playoff would most definitely ruin the college football regular season. Those two games fish mentioned would be still be interesting, but wouldn't have nearly the implications as it currently does.

Now if the Big 10 and Pac 10 added a conference championship game, then I could see them going to an 8 team playoff where you have the 6 BCS conference championship winners, 1 wild card, and the last spot goes to the best non-bcs conference team. With that, these games would still have large implications in getting to your conference title game. And it would keep the non-bcs teams happy as one of them gets a title shot each year.

It will be a sad day in football when a 12-0(penn state) or a 11-1 team will have no shot at #1. College football is a joke.

This...is a great solution. Hope I see it in my lifetime! :toast:
