i dont think bush deserves it.. len dale white's numbers arent far off bush's.

i say vince young is the most valuable player in college football..

take him off texas and they probably lose 3 games.

take bush off usc and they still dont lose.
Bush yards per carry is 8.3 and White is 6.5
Huge differance IMO as there are others in the 6.5 range but 8.3 ? Awesome especially when He is the guy everyone is aiming to stop !

The heisman is a great award Its not an MVP to his team award its most outstanding player. That often gets votes for the most spectacular player.

this year Reggie Bush has the largest collection of most spectacular eye popping plays, returns and highlight film runs.

that is what wins the Heisman. In bad crop years it might go to a guy
who is the QB of an undefeated team but in a year with a special spectacular player that does not happen.

REggie will win it.

TTT:

Just a word of caution. First, I wholeheartedly agree that Reggie Bush should be the top candidate this year, but split voting from the Western region of the U.S. could help Vince Young win the award and he is getting more and more press every week and putting up huge numbers as well. Last year,a split vote on Jason White and Adrian Pederson from Oklahoma helped Matt Leinhart win the Heisman thankfully, as I had him preseason at 5-1 at Olympic. This year, potentially the same thing could happen. You might want to hedge with Young just in case. Just a thought.

People betting on Bush might as well just throw their money out the window.

Leinhart will get more votes than Bush and it's very likely that someone other than the two USC boys will sneak in because of the vote-splitting.

Donate your money to charity instead of donating it to a book.

Be smart people.

Back in the day it was more about the highlight. Lately, it's been a QB on a winning team or a RB that breaks an NCAA rushing record his senior season.

If Texas is in the title game

Vince Young is the hands down winner!

Is he the best in the college game? I say no. Will he win the majority of non-west coast votes? By many more than most would think!

Many Heisman winners were not even as good as Vince Young. This is easy!

sort of agree but it actually makes the Reggie Bush choice even more likely

In the past 6 years there has been no special highlight type of player,

voters will flock to Bush (like Howard but even more).

They are sick of the standard Jason White, Chris Winkie type of winners..
makes him even more of a lock.

I just hit it some more after this discussion.

OH MY GOD

Sorry when I posted this it was not the best price, he went up to +145 at Pinny a couple weeks later. I hope you all popped it to the max at that price as we..

Bush will be a great Heisman Winer, maybe the most electric player in college in 20 years.

I can think of three on top of my head over last 45 years

late 80s Ismail
early 70s Rodgers
mid 60s Sayers

Key word is ELECTRIC

Sanders, Jackson, Walker, Sims, Campbell ,Dorsett...all pretty darn electric

Agree that all electric out of backfield as any carry had chance to go to the house though Campbell, Bo and Walker did it with shear speed and power not ankle breaking cuts. I believe only Sanders returned kicks(soph year)

My three choices based on breathtaking moves (especially Rodgers and Sayers) and ability to also return kicks to the house.

Other college players prettu good at gamebreaking: Anthony Carter, Des Howard, and some kid on Bama about 15 years ago--returnrd kicks and played WR, also got 3-4 touches in running game. can anyone help? Oh, Palmer is the kid
