It sounds like it won't be the knee or his love life that bothers Bush this year - but splitting time with Pierre Thomas may.

Bush had looked explosive in practice to this point.

Reggie Bush - RB - Saints The swelling that has kept Reggie Bush out of practice this week is to the left knee that has given him trouble in the past.
"Hopefully we can practice him tomorrow," said coach Sean Payton. "At the same time, I don't want to set it back." Bush is coming off a heavier than usual workload at St. Louis, and the knee flareup will likely have Payton thinking twice about expanding his role down the stretch. November 19

Pierre Thomas will carry the load in an ideal matchup, with Mike Bell chipping in as an early-down change of pace back. Coach Sean Payton said Bush likely wouldn't even be available for punt return duties. The Saints want to avoid a setback with Bush's knee, which he's had surgically repaired several times before. They'll likely play it safe so he's available for the stretch run.

The Saints want to avoid a setback with Bush's oft-surgically repaired knee. Against the Bucs, Pierre Thomas will carry the bulk of the load with Mike Bell coming in as a change-of-pace back and perhaps end-game "closer." Look for more receptions from Thomas. Anthony Hargrove will continue to play starter's snaps in Ellis' absence.

Reggie Bush - RB - Saints Reggie Bush (knee) is listed as "questionable" for Monday night's game against the Patriots, but is fully expected to play.
Bush sat out last week's game against the Bucs, but practiced every day this week. He'll play, but he isn't a fantasy option in standard leagues. November 28

</TD></TR><TR><TD class=vaLink>Bush was limited in practice all week but said that he would play. With the Saints soaring without him, it doesn't really seem to matter if Bush is returning. So, he will be on the field today but whether he sees the ball much is a different story. Don't expect any more than 10 touches for Bush.
