One weird thing also happened when I met with EF that I meant to mention in my op. After I paid the bill and got up to leave two Dominican women in their maybe 30's or early 40's (one fat, and one kind of slim but still a bit overweight) walked quickly by me over to the table where Rory was sitting and stood kind of hovering over him while he stared into his drink. I stood by the door and watched while the two women shouted at him in rapid-fire spanish in an incomprehensible accent while he looked down and away, pretending not to see them. He looked over at me with kind of hard eyes and then pulled a small piece of paper with some writing on it and handed it to the fat one.

It was a strange scene, I almost feel like I should have hung around and helepd him out but things were getting ugly quickly.
