regarding the dallas mavericks

This team is an atrocious PIECE OF SHIT when it comes to making money for Mavericks backers. I would go so far as to say it is one of Las Vegas most consistently profitable teams for them. Every year i look at the ATS winner chart, the Mavs are at the bottom. This year, they are #22, 27-31 ATS.

My experience losing money to these useless tools was in 2006. I put a big play on the Mavericks to beat the Heat in the NBA finals because they beat the Spurs & Suns in the playoffs pretty decisively. They won their first games 2-0. Then they get hosed for 4 consecutive games by Dwayne Wade & Zo. Thats it...5 on 2 (OK haslem helped) but Dallas got their asses kicked by 2 players for 4 games to lose the NBA title. Now they are led by Jason Kidd LOL.

I share this story in case you are thinking of a large play on the Mavs tonight against the Raptors. Don't do it.

Agreed. The Mavs are my favorite team to bet against because there is just no heart on that team. I always remember the last game of the season that same year you were talking about, when they played the Heat. They were playing at the Clippers, and homecourt/seeding in the playoffs was still on the line for them. The game meant absolutely nothing to the Clips because they had no chance at the playoffs. Dallas played pretty well in the 1h and were up 8 or 9 at the break, but they just didn't show up in the 2h. I think they scored something like 27 points the entire 2h. Not only did they not cover, they didn't even win the game. Of course after the game they were laughing it up and hugging their opponents.

I'll never forget that game because it showed the Mavs didn't care about winning at all. Just a bunch of guys collecting paychecks. I hammered the Heat to win the series primarily because of that game.

I stopped putting money on this team earlier this year when they got blown out back to back by Memphis and the Clippers.

kinda amazing that tonights game against OKC , that statfox has it at a pk, yet the 2 top scorers are out for OKC.

i know OKC has been great ATS , but hard to put money on a team with 2 top players out.
Yet it seems when teams are in that situation they tend to cover.

i can't touch it because of the Mavs inconsistency.

i was on mavs -250 last nite @ home vs the raptors. i layed the big number for what i thought was easy $$$ and it played out. tonite at OKC without thunders best 2 only giving 6 seemed too easy. i wouldnt bet the mavs as a favorite on the road with YOUR money!

here is my reasoning with bad english... first when key players are injured the team is very different, so its hard,in this case for Dallas to analyse the game, and the other point is if there are fixed games on NBA this game should be one of them, because all the factors envolved here, and if you look the line -6 seems very easy, so if you look like this, you dont have to play OKC if u dont want to, but you can pass on DAllas

im so pissed at the mavs too, they are just awful. 59 points in 3 quarters against with 14 wins and 45 losses with their two top scores out

between durant & green they average 43 ppg
the next is westbrook 15 ppg
then 8

absolutely horrible
